Third Person's POV
“Lara Lara . She heard her name being called
OMG I'm in trouble... Lara thought to herself as she contemplated running away but her plan was short lived when she heard the deep husky voice again.
“Who are you ”the Man asked
“ uh um... ” Lara was stuttering she couldn't form a complete sentence. “I uh Mike ..uh” she was scared
“I asked Who are you and look up lemme see your face ”He asked her as she was too scared to even look him in the eyes.
“Lara.... Uhm sorry sir she's my sister,she lost her way sir. ” Mike suddenly spoke as he saw Lara from the other side of the hallway .
Lara looked up immediately thankful that Mike came to her rescue or else she would have been in big trouble as she didn't know what to say if he was to ask why she was eavesdropping.
Immediately she looked up she came face to face with the Man she saved on her island. Her eyes weren't deceiving her she was sure of it. Mike brought her back to reality as he spoke.
“sir don't be angry with her ” Mike pleaded with his employer
“it's OK ”the man said looking at Lara
“oga sori. No vex na em i bin de find ”(sorry sir. Don't be Mad, he is the one I was looking for.) Lara spoke up for the first time the entire incident . The Man just nodded at her still starring at Lara.
“thank you sir ” Mike chipped in. He held Lara's hand pulling her towards the stairs.
“wait.... I know dah man, na em I bin save for our island. U remember say i don tell u bfr na ”(wait.. I know that Man, he was the one I saved on our island.cant you remember I told you before) Lara said as she tried to pull her hands out of his.
“I remember say u bin tell me abt d man wei u save, but e no fit ma oga. ” (I remember you telling me about the Man you saved, but it cant be my Boss)
Mike said as he stopped moving and faced her.
“y ma Oga go wan kill himself ?maybe d person wei u save and ma oga jes resemble ”(why would my Boss want to kill himself? Maybe the person you saved and my Boss look alike) he tried convincing Lara that his Boss wasn't the person she saved.
“buh I de sure ”(but I'm sure) she disagreed with Mike. She was sure of what she was saying.
“OK I believe u na em.. Make we de go ”(OK I believe you he's the one.. Let go) He wasn't ready to argue with her. They continued their journey down the stairs.
“wait.. ” someone shouted from up the stairs. Lara and Mike halted and turned to see Mike Boss at the top of the stairs. He started making his way towards the both of them.
“I know you ”He said smiling to Lara as soon as he stopped in front of them. Mike was surprised he looked between Lara and his Boss.
“uh.. I... ” Lara was surprised at what he said.
“I remember you ” he spoke again. Mike was just busy watching the both of them. Lara was was smiling at his Boss not bothering to say anything.
“can I speak to you ”Mike Boss asked Lara. She didn't reply she just nodded her head still standing where she was.
“In private ”Mike Boss said looking towards Mike this time.
“OK sir.. Please excuse me ”Mike took the cue and left them both on the stairs to talk .
“Lara cum meet me for gate I go de wait for u”(Lara come and meet me at the gate I'll be waiting for you) He told Lara who just nodded as she was busy staring at his Boss face dreamily.
