Tiwa's POV
“Miss , Mr Brown is around. He is waiting in the conference room. ” Victoria my PA informed me
“Thank you Victoria. Tell Mr Brown I'll be with him shortly ”
I said “if that's all you can take your leave ”
Victoria left my office leaving me with my thoughts. Several things were running through my mind.
It been seven years yet it seems just like yesterday. All I was hoping for was to hear a good news from Mr Brown. The one thing I have been dying to hear for ages now.
I left my office with a wicked smile on my face anticipating the good news. I entered the office to see Mr Brown and my PA Victoria.
Mr Brown stood up to shake my hand. We exchange pleasantries .
“Down to business, Mr Brown you are a week late. Do you care to explain why?” I asked
“of course Miss. Mr Cooker was ready to sell out the shares not until his Son disagreed and that caused the delay because his father had to persuade him. ” Mr Brown said
“I expected the Son's reluctant actually, well go on Mr Brown ” if there was a thing I knew about Shola Cooker it would be his stubbornness.
“Yes, so as I was saying, I had to wait a little and as luck would have it their hotel in Jos was burnt down as a result of the current crisis in the state. This caused a great set back for them so they needed funds but because of the huge loan the father collected from the bank which is yet to be settled they had no choice but to sell out shares. Congratulations Miss Animashaun you now own twenty percent of Cooker Luxury Ltd. ” gBrown handed me the documents.
“ Did you make sure not to disclose my identity? ” I asked
“yes, although the Son is very curious and wants to meet with you. I told him you're a very busy person so I'll be the one representing you throughout .”
“No Mr Brown, I think it's time I met with the Cookers besides our company's 30th Anniversary is around the corner . It's time to go Home " I smiled at him and pressed the intercom. “Victoria come in please” Victoria came in a second later.
“yes Miss ”
“Victoria I need the plane ready and prepare everything for me and the Twins. We are going home. ”
“OK Ma. Is that all? ”
“And could you please get hold of him for me ” she knew who I was referring to .That's what I like most about Victoria I didn't need to talk much before she understands .
“That will be all. Victoria please do see Mr Brown off. Thank you Mr Brown, you ll hear from my accountant by the end of the day ” we shook hands and I was left alone again with my thoughts.
Fifteen minutes later Victoria interrupted my thoughts.
“Miss he is on the line ”
Victoria left and I went into my office to make the call. As soon as I held the phone against my ear he spoke.
“I heard about your plans. Do you think that's a wise decision, I mean your are not ready to face them. ” He said but I was quiet.
“say something ”
“I don't know what to say. All I know is that I m ready to face them . Mike I waited 7 years seven good years of waiting. I can't wait to see their faces when they realize I own twenty percent of their company and that is just the beginning of the many things I plan on doing to destroy their lives. ” I laughed
