CHAPTER NINE :Two becomes one 💜+💜=💖

Third person's POV

Safiiya u don finish? ”  she asked but didn't get a reply she looked up and saw the last person she wanted to see right now.

Shade....

“it's not Safiiya bitch ..its me the Queen of the Villa ” Shade said as she walked into the room and stood by the door of the closet “the Queen of Lagos Island ”

Lara kept quiet she wasn't ready for one of Shade's episode of insults she had much on her mind already. She just hoped Safiiya or someone will come to her rescue. By someone she meant Shola.

“you know I still don't know why you won't pack up and leave already ”

Lara looked at Shade as if she had grown two heads.

“Don't you ever look at me in the eyes when next am talking to you bitch ” Shade yelled at Lara. “The sooner you leave the better to avoid a much bigger  humiliation  .Shola doesn't  love you, you're nothing but a pawn in his little game "

Lara didn't understand what she was talking about.
“Shade. Wetin I do u for dis house? ”  Lara asked but what she got as an answer was a dirty slap from Shade .

“you don't get to call me by name you this stupid girl. To you it's Madam Shade.  Got it?”

Lara just nodded crying.

“cry all you want bitch your knight in shining armour is not here to save you from me and that's just little out of the things I plan to do to you ”

“my advice for you, leave this Villa if possible leave this state if not.  ” Shade  said  going out of the room but not before pushing Lara to the floor. As she was about to step out of the room Safiiya came in .

“Madam Shade ” Safiiya said bowing a little . Shade being the bitch that she was just scoffed and went out.

Immediately she left Safiiya ran to Lara who was still crying on the floor.

“what did she do Lara? ” Safiiya asked. Lara told her everything that happened and Safiiya sighed
“Don't mind her Lara she is just jealous of you ” 

“jealous..Why she go jealous me ?”  Lara asked  this was the third time she was hearing it. First from Lola then Shola and now Safiiya. She was becoming more curious about it.

“what I'm about to tell you can get me in big trouble but I ll tell you cos you deserve to know even though it not like this you ought to find out ..you see before you got married to Mr Shola, he and Shade were.....

“Godd  na here u de Safiiya oga de find ...

Safiiya couldn't finish what she was saying as Mike interrupted.

Mike too didn't finish what he was saying when he saw Lara crying.

“Lara  why  u de cry? ”

“nothing.. Sumtin enter my eyes ”  Mike knew she was lying.

“u de lie.. I know u Lara oya tell me wetin happen”  Lara didn't say anything, Safiiya then went ahead to tell Mike what happened.

Mike was furious to say the least, he said he would inform her grandparents but Lara pleaded with him not to.

They were still talking when Shola walked in.

“what's going on here ” Shola asked with a frown on his face. He noticed Lara's face was filled with tears that made his face soften .

“Good day Sir, I was asked to call Safiiya and I met her here” Mike gave his reason for being in the room which wasn't a lie.

“ehm  I came to check on Lara and asked if she would like a little snack before dinner time ” Safiiya said.

“alright then you two may take your leave now. ” Shola said

When the two left he walked further into the room picking Lara up from the floor and sitting on the bed with her on his lap.

“what's the matter ?” He asked, that was the first time he was speaking to her for over a week.

She told him everything. From how bad Shade spoke to her to the slap she received. Shola already fuming when she finished her narration.

“Shola Wetin I do u wei make u vex for me ..u bin no de talk to me, u no slip for our room”  Lara needed to know what she did wrong she loved Shola and their marriage.

Shola on the other hand was feeling guilty like hell. He didn't know why he avoided her like a plaque . He knew if he was with her Shade would not have been able to get close to Lara. He blamed himself for what Shade did.

“I'm very sorry Baby ” she blushed.. She loved it when he called her that and he knew it. She was easy to appease

“I was very busy throughout the week. I had several business busy that's why. I'm not angry at you at all infact I should be asking for your forgiveness ”

She didn't know why he was asking for forgiveness. Hell!! There was alot Lara didn't know about.

“ so e mean say we don de OK abi.. U no de vex again nd u go slip for our room? ”   She was very excited

“yes I ll be sleeping here but before that I need to inform you that I ll be traveling soon ”

“travel?  Why? Where you de go? When u go cum bck? ”   Lara asked all in one breath standing up to face him.

“easy Baby ” he tried calm her “I'm trying to start up my own business  I don't want to depend on my parents business anymore, I want to build a name for myself. I ll be meeting up with some of my friends in America who are thinking of investing.i ll be gone for about three months ”

Lara didn't understand anything he was saying the only thing she knew was that her husband was going away and for a long for that matter.  How was she going to cope without him there with her.

“no  Shola no leave me abeg ”  Lara said with tears in her eyes

“hey.. Don't cry I ll be back before you know it. I promise we will speak everyday I will tell Jamaal  to get you your own mobile phone and he will teach you how to use it .” He said as bent down to kiss her forehead.

“I go miss you ”  

“I ll miss you too Baby ” they hugged.

“Don't worry I will spend the rest of the days before I travel with you ”

Lara was very happy she hugged him tight.. They talked and talked about different things most of time it was Lara doing the talking. Shola loved her company and laughed at the hilarious things she spoke to him about.

Something happened that that night without them even knowing  ....Two hearts became one...
