In this world without sun, the "nights" were empty and without noise. The Fluency appeared to be a ghost ship, standby reactors and reduced personnel. At night, calm settled down and terror subsided. But not for Kylo.

The night was synonymous with troubled dreams and nightmares. And this night was no exception. He woke up sweaty, but especially with something that left him perplexed and scared. He looked under his sheet, at the level of his lower abdomen. And he understood the problem. It was not the first time he dreamed of Rey, but never such a dream. And now he wanted her, no longer as an ally or a dead enemy ... but as a woman. He who had never known carnal love, nor love for a long time, he thought. He for whom work and the thirst for power had always been his driving force. That, and being at least as admired as his grandfather was.

He turned his head and saw through the door of his room the exposed mask of Darth Vader. He was ashamed. One more reason to hate this girl!

He got up quickly and decided to wash. Water dripped on his body like a caress. He loved that moment of calm in the morning, one of the few personal moments of his life. But we were still at night and he was wandering around his room, awake, unable to go back to sleep. He wondered what Rey was doing at that moment. What was she dreaming of, and what was she thinking? He also thought back to what Snoke had said about their bond, and the anger he had felt at being a pawn in his game. He also remembered this exchange of distant eyes after Crait's rebels escape. So maybe Snoke did not say true ...

Anyway he could not stay in his apartments without doing anything. Sleep would not come back, and the sight of his sheets disgusted him. He decided to go out and enjoy the quiet deserted corridors.

His footsteps inevitably guided him to the prison corridor of important prisoners. The cells were all empty except for the one containing Rey. A holographic memo broadcast continuously, at the entrance of the corridor, the name of the prisoner, her characteristics, and the instructions of restricted access. Two motion detection droids chirped when Kylo arrived. But having identified the arrival, they went back to sleep immediately.

He was moving slowly, hoping to hear something. But she seemed to have fallen asleep. He was seized with a mad desire to know his secrets, why he did not know it, but he had to. He stood in front of the door and reached out his arm. He began to hear the flow of his thoughts. A succession of images passed by, where in turn were characters that Kylo knew or not. Desert, carcasses, the renegade who had dared deserted, their embrace that caused Kylo a burn in the stomach ... Then a pilot in orange jumpsuit, yes, this pilot that Kylo had questioned ... His mother, his father. A wookie. Nothing interesting. He was lulled by the mental visions of what was going on in Rey's mind when something interesting happened at last. Ben ... that word resonated now in Rey's dreams. A feeling of sadness and also lack emanated. Rey dreamed of him! In his dream, only Kylo's face in the throne room, holding out his hand persisted. She called him. She shouted his name, while in her dream he turned on his heels. She tried to reach out, catch up with him, she wanted to bring him back to the light. But she could not do it. She shouted again "Ben don't leave me!".

Kylo broke away from this dream, out of breath. He seemed to have received a stomach uppercut. He took a few moments to gather his spirits. He was quiet, nobody would come to bother him in this corridor.

So, Rey also thought of him in her dreams, or her nightmares. He was not insensible to her, and obviously she did not have only hatred for him. This information could be useful to him. He jumped at feeling a change in the Force. She was awake, and was frightened. She must have woken up with a start. He decided not to be felt, and quickly went back to his apartments. While he was eager to return and treat himself to a meditation session before starting his day's work, at deck E, the elevator doors opened to an unusual excitement at this time.

Kylo stepped forward, feeling the fear coming from everyone he met. Fear, envy, terror ... these were the emotions of those who met his eyes. He crossed that girl, there an officer, who looked at him out of the corner of his eye. She was not afraid. She admired him. But Kylo, if he had ever felt such glances from women, and appreciated that, was distracted that night. He could not get the vision of Rey's dream out of his head.

As he advanced, he tried to pull himself together because the situation was exceptional. Something must be happening, and he demanded to be notified.

He finally arrived at the bridge of command, where Hux barked orders without stopping on a crowd of busy officers. In front of him, four holograms of generals discussed in turn the best strategy to use.

Kylo stopped his way just behind Hux, who sensed to his subordinates that Kylo must be behind him. All bowed and Hux turned around did the same.

- Would you finally keep me informed of what's going on? Kylo said coldly.

- Supreme Leader, Hux said, getting up. Our shield had a temporary failure in the 2-gamma sector. Here, Hux said, pointing to the Fluency hologram. It only lasted 4 seconds, however, we suspect the enemy of causing the failure to inflict. We do not wish to relive the last catastrophe.

Kylo continued to watch the modeling of what had happened, in a loop. Hux continued his explanation.

- I had all the forces on duty awake, and four of our most brilliant generals. They manage their troops in the lower sectors. Our scans have not given anything yet, but we know that hackers have recently rallied to their so-called "cause". We do not neglect the human troops to check each sector one by one.

- Why would they come? Kylo whispered.

- Why are they so stupid, you mean, Hux laughed.

He met Kylo's gaze, which made him immediately lose his arrogance.

- They come for the prisoner, no doubt, I mean. But we have tightened the conditions of detention. She can not be released.

Kylo returned to the contemplation of the Fluency hologram. He scoured him for cells. He looked at him for a moment. Then he turned on his heels.

- Supreme Leader, called Hux behind him. What are your orders? he asked with a hint of undisguised sarcasm, seeing Kylo destabilized.

It was too much for Kylo. He had had to endure this dirty barker for too long without putting him too in trouble in front of his troops. He knew that some were murmuring that he was not a soldier, that he was too young and too unstable to run an empire. He was going to put this arrogant down!

Kylo turned around, raising his hand and Hux immediately fell to his knees. The room suddenly fills with a dead silence, only interspersed with Hux's gurgles.

- My orders are to keep me informed minute after minute of the possible infiltration of the rebels. And most importantly, do not allow the prisoner to flee. It's about your life. She has an importance that you could not suspect for the First Order. Get my pretorian guard, that it finds me in our training room in thirty minutes.

Then he left, and Hux took a deep breath. His face went back almost instantly to his original color, and he had to face the dumbfounded glances of the officers below.

 - You have heard, he tried to say without forcing his voice, move on! He shouted.
