- What do you want Rey? asked, annoyed, Tyder.

Ben no longer had his handcuffs. He was standing in front of the hologram table opposite Tyder. General Mor Btza was there too. Ben turned when she entered. She noted that the atmosphere was tense, but not unpleasant. Ben seemed to have found someone to talk to, and seemed equally happy about her coming. She noted Connix in a corner, calmly listening to the discussions, arms crossed in the back. The staff was kept to a minimum, and Rey logically deduced that sensitive information was being exchanged at the moment.

- So? Tyder got impatient.

- Rey? Ben asked.

Rey was not comfortable, she did not know exactly what to say, nor how to present it. She swallowed and stepped forward and placed herself next to Ben.

- I wanted to ask you ... a favor.

- What is it about?

She looked at Ben and then returned to her illustrious audience.

- I want to go. I have to ... do some research, for my training. I need the support of Ben Solo.

Ben looked down at her, surprised. Tyder on his side took a few seconds to think.

- So, you're just back, and as usual, if I may say, you already want to leave.

- Yes.

- Dare I ask you why? he said cynically.

Ben had read in her. He knew what she wanted. He decided to help her.

- We must complete her training. And I have to find my Ren knights. They could be of great help in the fight against Hux.

Tyder opened his mouth first, but refrained from saying what was immediately going through his head. He knew that sometimes it was better to think before speaking. But this irritated him to the highest degree.

- "We"? Mr. Solo ... should I remind you that you are here as a prisoner, possibly a collaborator. But by no means decision maker. On the other hand, I do not see how the fight against the First Order would be our only problem.

- I am not fighting against the First Order, General. I am fighting General Hux. I'm only here because I wanted to, and can leave if I want to. And you know it.

Tyder scowled.

- We both know that I will not help you here, and worse, a burden. Let me go, help Rey in her training. Luke Skywalker is dead, and as far as I know, there is no more Jedi to guide her in this galaxy. This will contribute to your ... cause, indirectly. And for my part, I have to do to prepare my counterattack.

- Who tells us that you will not strengthen for once you come back to power, to attack us? What would you do if you had your worst enemy in front of you?

- I would kill him, without hesitation.

Tyder smiled again as Rey looked up at Ben with bewildered eyes.

- But I'm not your worst enemy. I proposed to you to combine, in a common government. And you can thank Rey for that. My proposition still holds, if we manage to overthrow Hux. But my condition is the one I asked you.

                                                         -------------------------------------------------

A few hours later, Rey and Ben were on the start. While Ben was making the final preparations, Rey changed, and put on an outfit of her taste, with the flaxen pendants that made her signature. She tied her hair into a braid, and did not forget Ben's lightsaber.
