Chapter 57 - The final clash (1).

Rey paused for a moment to contemplate the city she saw spread before her. High buildings of reddish stone, colossal pyramids, paved streets that seemed deserted. An ancient and immense city, as she had never seen. What she knew best was Maz's relay before it was destroyed. Plants had begun to push back everywhere, nature was regaining its rights. Everything seemed too calm, too quiet.

While in the sky, we heard the roar of torpedo shots of blasters. Sometimes TIEs and X-Wings appeared, but went up very quickly in space. She frowned, thinking that Ben was up there, like Poe, and like so many others. She should not falter. Alice returned from her exploration. She put down her bag and took a sip of water from her metal flask. It was hot. Wiping the diaper off her hand, she pointed to an area further north.

Malo took over and they discussed strategy for a few minutes. They then joined Rey, Finn and Rose.

- We are going along the pyramid to the north, the one we see from here, it is there on the map. The sun will give on this side and project this face in the shade. This will allow us to hide ourselves to an old passage there. Once in this gut, we can go one kilometer inland without being spotted. The walls are so thick that no sensor will be able to detect us.
