It was your 6 month anniversary with Hayes, when you decided to surprise him by taking him to the art gallery. Neither of you had your drivers licenses so it was a bus ride away, which wasn't bad, except for it was always rainy.
The bus ride went quickly, and sooner than what felt like normal, you were stepping off the bus, and making your way inside in order to avoid the rain. You both got into the queue, but you stepped ahead paying for the tickets, leaving him flustered behind you as you grabbed his hand, pulling him into the gallery alongside you.
You walked together, hand in hand, through three floors of art, ending at the third, where the landscape pictures resided. You decided to sit together on a bench. You were focused on the artwork on the wall, when you finally noticed him staring to you.
"Why are you staring at me? Theres a huge painting right there" I asked him quietly, giggling to myself while turning back to the big painting in front of you.
"Because," he paused, "the only piece of art I want to look at is right in front of me."
