Chapter 8 : Explosive Encounter

After the 'Zuhaan-Drama' now Zuhaan, Zaid and Parvez come to the dining room for breakfast. Everybody was having a peaceful breakfast, but not peaceful enough when Zuhaan gets a call from the office informing him about the cancellation of an important deal due to the fault of an employee. He failed to submit the contract before the deadline. This information fuelled anger in Zuhaan and he left the house in rage. He took one of the cars and drove fast. The speed and mood could easily be detected by the screech of the tires outside the gate.

Zuhaan's car was flying on the roads of Allahabad. He was in rage, Who is going to burn today? Zuhaan was very dedicated towards his work, for him nothing else was more important than his work and for this reason, it was now even difficult for Zaid to control him. The deal that he lost was a major deal he was working for, for months.

"This man is dead today! I swear!", uttered Zuhaan in rage, "He is of no use, I was working day and night for this deal and due to a mere deadline I lost it!", adding, "I am going to kill that bastard!". Just as he was lost in his thoughts, Zuhaan had to stop with a loud screech. A girl came in front of his car, as soon as he stopped the car; the girl fell down.

"SHIZA!" cried out Ashar, when he saw her falling. Ashar rushed to her side, when she fell.

Zuhaan got out of his car angrily and bangs the door behind him. Ashar and Zuhaan shared an angry glare for a few seconds. Breaking the silence, Zuhaan then said, looking at Shiza, "Can't you watch your steps? Are you blind? Or is it your garden? Can't you see where you are walking?" All that anger, of the employee and loosing an important deal, flushed out on her.

"Oh she can, but I guess you cannot while driving! Or are you colour blind? Dont you see the red light?" said Ashar, Clearly, he couldn't control himself when Zuhaan directed his anger towards Shiza. On this reply of Ashar, Zuhaan who was already in rage, lost control and was about to hit Ashar when Parvez and Zaid arrived at the scene.

"BHAI! NO!" Zaid yelled as he got out of the car and grabbed Zuhaan

"She should have been careful and responsible while crossing the road", Yelled Zuhaan, trying to break out of Zaid's hold.

"Mr. Zuhaan Abdullah Seraj, you should watch yourself while over speeding and breaking signals.!" yelled Ashar.

"People walking on road are not my responsibility!" said Zuhaan.

"They are", said Shiza softly before Ashar could shout back, on seeing her reply softly and bravely to the most angry man of Allahabad, who was at his peak, everyone, including Shiza's Friends, Zaid and Parvez were shocked, but Shiza continued, "If you own a vehicle, then every life walking on this road is your responsibility. Every single Human or animal. You should learn to take your responsibility. If you cannot, then please hire a professional driver. Do not take anyone's life for granted. If you cannot create life, then you have no right to destroy it!"

To this soft and respectful, but sharp and chiselled word of Shiza, Zaid and Ashar both were amazed. Parvez , oddly, appeared Proud. Zuhaan Still in rage glared at Shiza and then Ashar and then turned around and left angrily. He sat back in his car and left.

Zaid and Parvez were left to gawk at this behaviour of Zuhaan. No one expected Zuhaan not to reply to Shiza and leave. The Zuhaan, that they knew was supposed to yell back at Shiza without even bothering about the fact that she was a girl. Zuhaan was expected to at least try to hit one of them. But he did nothing, he just turned around and left, and he did not even go where he was going, he turned around his car and went back towards Seraj Villa. Zuhaan, there, had misbehaved, not with Shiza or Ashar, but with the angry Zuhaan that he was supposed to be. he acted out of his nature, he had betrayed his old pal, Anger and to which, to some extent even he was clueless, as to why?
