"So, what can we do around here?" I asked as I put on my boots once again.

"Well, apart from skiing, there are plenty of other things to do around here," he answered. "You have golf, although I'm not sure if you are going to try that. I can't really play golf."

I shook my head. "I can't either."

"There's a bowling alley somewhere around," he continued. "There's karaoke too. And a sauna. You can rent a bicycle and cycle around the resort. There's the four wheel quad bike. Oh, we can try the slide."

"Slide?"

"Yeah," he grinned like a child. "It's this slide up on the mountain and you take this car-looking thing and slide downhill. It's really fun!"

I laughed. "I can see that you liked it very much."

"Apart from all the resort facilities, there's a national Park to visit, a farm to visit... Mt. Balwang is quite famous. We can go there one day to see the sunrise."

"Sounds good."

"And of course, the most famous thing that every visitor comes to YongPyong to do..."

"Ski?"

"Apart from skiing," he said.

"And it is?"

"To visit the site of Winter Sonata."

"Was Winter Sonata filmed here?" I exclaimed with excitement.

"Yes. You didn't know that?" he seemed surprised.

I shook my head. "I know it's some ski resort but I've forgotten the name."

"Well, now you know," he chuckled. "In fact, if we aren't skiing today... I was thinking to take you to see it."

"Are we skiing today?"

"I thought it would be better to ski tomorrow. We can go early in the morning. That way we get a good full day skiing. It's almost four now and the sky will turn dark in an hour or so. We can ski in the night but since you are a beginner, I would prefer not to. You might get injured."

"Okay, sounds okay to me."

We caught the shuttle bus which took us to the main resort area. It sure was a crowded place. But like he said, everybody was too busy with their own activities that no one paid attention to us. We stopped by at the YongPyong Condo where he brought me to a walkway - a promenade platform where we could see the alleviating view of the entire condo. The entire compound was white with snow. It looked like a picture painting. It was so surreal.

"Did you watch Winter Sonata?" he asked.

"I did!" I grinned. "It was my first korean drama! I so love Bae Yong Jun!"

He frowned at me and I laughed. "Then do you remember this scene?"

"Was this a scene?"

He rolled his eyes. "Yes... this was the scene where Minhyong was first attracted to Yoojin... I hope you remember their names..."

I winced before chuckling. "Actually no... It was so long ago!"

"Well, this was the place where he was first attracted to her."

"Okay."

We lingered around the promenade for a few more minutes before we moved on to Dragon Plaza where the Gondola Station was.

"The Dragon Peak is famous," he explained. "Besides being on the top of Balwang mountain, there's a little house up there where Minhyong and Yoojin spent the night because they were caught in the snow."

"Oh, I remember that!" I exclaimed. "That was a beautiful scene!" I looked around excitedly.

"We will go up one of these days," he promised.

"How about the bench where they kissed? The one they made a snowman?"

"Ah... that's not here. That was at Namiseon Island. You want to go there?"

"Well, it's not a must. I'm just asking..."

"It's actually nearer to where we were filming... Gyuenggi-do..."

"Oh?"

"Well, we'll see if we have time to make it there..."

"No no... it's really okay!"

"Come," he took my hand and we walked on to Valley Center. He brought me into a lovely cozy cafe and we sat ourselves down at the table. "Remember here?"

"Is this a film site too?" I looked around curiously.

He slapped his forehead. "Okay, you are definitely not a fan of Winter Sonata."

I chuckled. "I guess..."

"This was the cafe where Yoojin was in-charge of its renovation and where Joonsang played the piano to her."

"Oh... did he?" I scratched my head. I saw his expression and laughed. "Okay, sorry..." I turned to look at the piano. "Can you play the piano?"

"Me?" He looked at it for a moment. "Eh, well... I did learnt a little."

There wasn't many people in the cafe so I told him to try it out. "Play it!"

He looked hesitant before he finally seeked the permission from the waiter. He walked up to the piano. I decided to move to the table next to the piano. He scratched his head before stretching out his fingers. He stared at the keys nervously.

He played a very slow song. Really very slow. And with a couple of wrong notes. When he was finally done, he heaved a sigh of relief and came back to the table.

"I haven't played it for a long time..." he apologised.

But I smiled up to him lovingly, touched by his effort. "That was nice."

He blushed slightly. It was probably the first time I seen him so shy! He looked so cute!

I stood up and walked to the piano. He looked at me in surprise. "I'd like to play you something too." I sat down and took a deep breath to prepare myself. I decided to play "My Memories" from Winter Sonata. It was actually one of my favourites. When I was done, I was surprised to hear clapping. I blushed furiously and gave a little bow before returning to our table.

"You play the piano....," he commented.

"Ya, I played it since I was six but I'm not a very good pianist," I said.

"That was very good already!"

"Thank you," I smiled shyly.

He brought around to the bowling alley, the sauna, the fitness center, and also to his favourite hangout - the supermarket. Since it was still early, most people were out of the slopes. Hence we didn't meet many people on our touring around. Finally we stopped at a sushi restaurant for the day to settle our dinner.
