"Okay, so first, we get started by getting you ready."

Seo-jin turned up at my flat on Monday morning. At nine a.m. sharp. I had just about came out from the shower when the door bell rang. My hair was still dripping wet.

His idea of getting me ready was to pack me into a black SUV which was already on stand-by downstairs. I barely had time to grab my purse when he whizzed me away.

"Seat belt," he reminded me once I got in and the car began to zoom off. I hurriedly strapped myself in. He took out his tablet. A Samsung Tab, I presumed. After clicking on a few buttons, he finally found what he was looking for, as it seemed.

"You are scheduled for an interview at eleven," he said. "There will be a photo shoot at two. At five, I will have office time with you."

"Office time?" I was puzzled. What on earth was office time?

"It's basically a get-together between you and me," he said. "I think we need to know each other better so that I can be a proper manager to you. And I need to brief you on the proper etiquettes so that you know how to handle interviews as well as present yourself during social functions. Of course, I would like to do that before your first interview but apparently the crew can't wait to get started."

"So, where are we going now?" I asked.

"To the studio. For make-up, hairdo and change of clothes," he eyed my fashion sense interestingly. I was merely in a long-sleeved shirt and a pair of jeans. "You'll meet your fashion consultant."

We arrived at a three-storey high building, forty five minutes later. I was introduced to my make-up artist - Leonie and my fashion consultant, Kim Bae. Bae was a young man in his early thirties with pink hair. He reminded me of Damien actually. He was dressed in a pair leather pants, and a G STAR Raw tee. It just had to shout before my face.

He looked me over, analysing my facial features, my hair texture, and even right down to my nails. He pouted and frowned, pursed up his lips, ruffled his hair, before finally coming to a conclusion.

And the first thing he said was, "Your skin is terrible." I knew my skin wasn't good but I didn't really need to hear that from him. "You will need special skin products. Otherwise, make-up cannot help you too."

Okay. Hello... first of all, I wasn't aspiring to be an actress. I was going to be a director. Who cares if I look ugly? Did that really matter, seriously?

"Or, she can go for plastic surgery," he said to Seo-jin.
