Karen - and some... especially to post something in a news article that so many people read, not just those interested in theatre.

Andréa- agreeing with K here. Posting something like that on Twitter is one thing. Writing an article is a whole other story!

Mandy - I kinda wanna message him asking 'what was that all about?' Etc. But unsure what do you think.

Janet - no you'll encourage him more.

I put my phone down and lean on Chris. "Wanna come for lunch with the girls. We have a 4 call time so have to pick Doug up and go. I'm going to text Lin in a second to see if he'll let him sleep in my dressing room. As we don't have a sitter because my parents left."

"Sure babe. And I'll text him. What time are we going for lunch?"

Meet at the theatre at 1 then go from there. I was hoping to go to that little family place you took me to on that first date. I really liked it there."

"Okay. I'll go call Lin. Love you."

"Love you too babe." I gave him a kiss before he walked into the kitchen. I kept going through my messages.

I smiled wide as I read the messages. They were so sweet and kind. I quickly liked all their comments and responded to them.

My smile soon turned into a frown as I read the next message.

@Adam_Davis_NYnews - you kids know nothing about Mandy! Just you wait until # 'candy' break up! I'll laugh!

I was shocked, how could Adam be so cruel to these few fans. I open my DM's and send a message to Adam.

Mandy - What's going on? What do you have against me? Why are you making up lies about our breakup? Why are you telling my boyfriend all this false information, about how I'm only there for his son? That's not the case! I love Chris more than I ever loved you. Inside me I loved you after a few months, that's why I sacrificed so much for you. I was just too nervous, but the time I let it out I was too late. Turns out you are just an a**hole. Chris practically saved my life, and our relationship is none of your business! So please stay out of our happy life. Mandy.

I then put my phone down as Chris walked in. "Okay, Vanessa said she would look after Doug tonight, and for the rest of the week. We can collect him on our way home. She said she'll meet us here after we pick him up, the. She'll take him back to theirs. She'll make him dinner, read him a story and put him to bed. I just wanted to check if that was okay with you." He came and sat beside me. I leaned against him a slight frown on my face.

"Ummm, Yeah sure. It means he won't get woken up from the show and won't wake up when we are both onstage. I guess it's our only option really. I just wish I could tuck him in." I picked up the stuffed elephant that was on the side of the couch and cuddled it as I curled myself up into Chris's chest.

"I know what you mean baby. When we started previews off Broadway, we didn't want to leave him. You'll get used to it and most days we can still have dinner with him as he eats early. A five thirty dinner means we can leave at six and be in before half hour."

"Okay. I guess I do just have to get used to it. There's only going to be two nights a week we can tuck him in. Sunday's and Monday's, But I guess that's the cost of being an actor with a child or a step-child."

"Yeah. We'll be fine. And Doug's used to it anyway."

"Yeah. I'll go pack up a night bag for him." I walk into his bedroom, grab his pyjamas, toothbrush, toothpaste, story book and special blanket, that he won't sleep without, and put them all in the bag. I head back out to the living room and put the elephant in the bag as well. I set the bag by the door and sit next too Chris.
