59 - Lin?

"Babe, I have to go talk to Lin for a moment, see you in a bit, I love you." I said brushing my hand on Chris's cheek as we were in his dressing room.

"I love you too." I kiss his cheek, then walk out of his dressing room, drab my bag from my room and head down the stairs, under the stage and up to Lin's dressing room. I knock on the door.

"Hey Lin, can I talk to you for a moment? Oh it's Mandy by the way."

"Sure Mandy, come on in." I walk in and sit on his couch, I put my bag beside me and look up at him. "What's up?"

"I'm giving you a two months notice, and expect Chris to give you his in a few weeks. We agreed we'd leave together, he just doesn't know yet."

"Oh, why are you leaving? I didn't think you'd been auditioning for anything else."

"I haven't, and you promise not to tell Chris what I'm about to tell you."

"Okay, I promise." I pull out the envelope and pass it to him. He opens it and pulls out the ultra sound, he smiles at me. "You're pregnant?" I nodded. "That's amazing Mandy, congrats honey. I'm so happy for you both." He gave me a massive hug and I hugged back.

"Thanks Lin. So yeah, that's why I'm leaving and Chris and I promised to take our final bows together."

"That's understandable. I'm so excited for you both. You are great parents to Doug, and I know you will be great parents to your little one together. Can I just ask, how far along are you?"

"Roughly 6 weeks. I've been having morning sickness, but Chris had been doing the morning runs with Doug for this semester so doesn't know."

"Okay. And when and how are you planning on telling Chris. He needs to know."

"Of course I'm going to tell him. I've got a 'big brother' shirt for Doug's birthday, I'm getting an ultrasound the day before, so will put the photo in there as well. Then when he opens it they will both find out. I'm excited to tell them. Also I brought this dress, can I use this at the end of act one. It means I will be able to stay longer as it's not so tight so won't show my bump. Depending on what Chris thinks, I'm going to make it public at our final bows."

"Okay, you can definitely wear that dress and yeah, I'll make sure Alex has a microphone ready for you to use. What date were you thinking?"

"27th, last Sunday of May."

"Okay, that's perfect. It's a shame you're leaving. But you guys deserve this, 100%. I'm so happy for you."

"Thanks Lin. I have to head back to get ready for the show. Break a leg bro."

"Break a leg sis. Love you."

"Love you too." I gave him a big hug, then headed back to my dressing room. The five minutes call came on and I was ready for the show. "Hey babe." I said walking into chris' dressing room. "My chat with Linny took longer than planned. Then I had to get ready."

"It's fine babe. Break a leg tonight gorgeous."

"And you mi amor. I love you."

"I love you more." He responded, pulling me closer to him by my hips.

"I love you most." I threw my hands to the back of his head and pulled him down so our lips touched, stopping him from responding. We kissed passionately until the places call came one. I giggled and ran off towards stage right.
