Finn

When Caleb came home from work earlier than usual the next day he was already acting a little cold towards me again.
I was over it, ready to give him a piece of my mind, but he didn't even give me a chance to.

"Finn, can you go make some dinner?" was the first thing he said to me and I looked at him incredulously.

"Are you fucking serious?" I questioned. There was no way I'd get treated like a maid all the time!

"Just go," he insisted and glanced at Danny who was sitting next to me meaningfully.
I didn't know what exactly he wanted but I huffed and got up nonetheless, wandering into the kitchen.

Of course I didn't start on dinner. Instead I tried to eavesdrop on Danny's and Caleb's conversation. I couldn't make out what they were saying, though.

A short while later my best friend came into the kitchen as well.

"I'm taking Danny out," he stated.

"Where?"

"Just the mall."

I scoffed, "And I get to stay here and cook?"

"Well... Yeah. But you don't have to," Caleb said slowly, "We'll probably get something at the food court."

"Great," I said a little bitterly, "And what do you imagine Matt'll do when he finds out?"

My best friend hesitated, "Guess we'll cross that bridge when we get there. With any luck we'll be back before he comes home."

"Okay. Have fun."

Caleb took my hands in his, "Don't look at me like that. I'm just trying to make things right with Danny, okay? It'll be better for all of us if I do."

"Yeah, I know," I sighed.
Sure, I wanted them to get along, but I felt a little neglected.

Caleb reluctantly leaned down to softly make our lips meet before letting go of me.

"We'll be back in a while."

I nodded, staying in the kitchen to pout.

After they left I settled back into the couch and watched some TV. Merely an hour or so later there was a knock at the door.
I hoped that it was Caleb and Danny, but it was highly unlikely: they had a key, and they hadn't been gone for very long.

I got up to open the door, and I had been right: it was Matt.

"Hey," he greeted with his infamous, ridiculously white smile.

I just smiled back, not quite trusting my voice, because I was a little nervous now.

I sat back down on the couch, and after Matt had taken off his coat and shoes he followed.

"Are you watching Big Brother?"

I nodded.
Matt grinned even wider, "Awesome, I'll go get Danny."

Before I could even answer he was already jogging up the stairs and when he returned after a minute or so, I winced at the look on his face.

"Finn, where's Danny?"

"Uh... Well, he's not... exactly here... as such," I said and chuckled nervously.

"Where is he?" the red head repeated, and I'd never seen him look so terrifying.

I set down my phone and slowly got up from the couch, "He's just at the mall with-"

"I swear to fucking God, if you tell me he's with Caleb I'm going to murder him."
