You know that expression- "curiosity killed the cat"? Well that's what the logical side of my brain was continuously screaming at me right now. And to be honest, I can't blame her because I was sitting in a car with three men whom I knew nothing about and I had no idea where we were going. Chocolate boy driving, grey eyes riding shot gun and Mystery Man in the back with me. It was so damn awkward and silent. It was like they were having their own conversation among themselves silently. Just great.

I sat there with arms crossed looking out the window, trying the memorize the places we passed so I could at least attempt to make my way back if I had to escape, when my phone dinged signalling a text message. I froze. Was I allowed to use my phone? They can still be serial killers. I sat there not saying a word or not even attempting to look for my phone when I heard a chuckle from beside me and then chocolate boy said,

"Lilly, you know you can get your phone right?"

Oh wow he knows my name and I still know none of theirs. I released a breath I didn't even know I was holding and dug in my bag to find my phone.

May<3

Where are you? You didn't text me and it's past 3:30 :|

I checked the time to see it was 3:32pm. May is unbelievable. Fuck, what am I going to tell her? I can't tell her what I am actually doing, knowing her she might call the police. I looked up at Mystery Man probably he could help me out? He stared at me with an amused smile on his face. Never mind then. I texted May back quickly telling her that I'll be staying at the cafe again and stuck my phone back into my bag. I leaned into the seat and sighed. I turned to Mystery Man and saw that he was already looking at me.... Okaayyy...

"What's your name?" I asked without thinking.

He smiled and turned himself to face me, extending a hand towards me,

"Matthew Luke Taylor. You can call me Matt. It's a pleasure meeting you Lilly Ella Lane." He knew my full name; not creepy at all. I nodded my head and slowly extended my hand to meet his, instantly feeling butterflies in my stomach when our hands touched. And even more butterflies when he brushed his lips on the skin of my hand.

I pulled my hand back trying to look as if I was in no way affected by what just happened.

"It's creepy how you all know my name you know." They all laughed as if it was some joke. I don't know what I think about these people anymore.

"I'm Jason Cooper" chocolate boy then said looking at me through the rear-view mirror, "You have no idea how happy I am that this is happening" Uhhh okayy? "Big guy over there was going crazy" he gestured to Matthew.

"Dude shut up you're gonna scare her away" Matthew reached over to tap Jason on his head.

"And then he'll definitely kill you" Grey eyes pitched in and they all laughed.

"Hell yeah I will" Matt agreed and Jason put his hands up in surrender, abandoning the steering wheel for some seconds.

Wow the three of them had to be best friends. This is how May and I behave with each other.

"Oh and I'm Nathan Taylor" Grey eyes turned around to tell me, "Matt's older brother. It's nice to meet you" he winked. I smiled in reply and then noticed that we were turning into a small dirt road which cut into the forest. Okay this is beginning to get scary again. I discretely looked at the three boys and they looked normal as ever. Maybe I was going to die today. Why else would they be heading into the forest?

About two minutes after, we approached a huge opening with two buildings in the middle. I inwardly gasped. It was like a huge hotel, almost reaching the sky but painted in a golden brown colour with intricate designs that made it look ancient and valuable. And a mini hospital a little way further off? There were people scattered all around. I was mesmerized by the building. I've never heard of this place before. It was so tall but still hid among the trees from far.

Jason parked the car in front of the pathway to the door and the boys began coming out of the vehicle then I realized I should probably be too.

"Come" Matt gestured for me to walk beside him. We walked to the front door with me still gazing around in awe not thinking about anything else beside how beautiful this place is even if it is in the middle of the forest.

Nathan pushed open the glass doors and held them open for us as we entered. The first thing I saw were the two elevators directly in front of me but when I looked around, I gasped. I was even more amazed than before. It was a huge white room with huge glass windows and white sofas and tables and chairs placed all around which people were using. Colours popped from paintings that were hung expertly around, the green plants placed randomly around the room and the green surroundings from outside the window. It was simply amazing.

"Okay let's go" I was finally snapped out of my gazing session by Matt's voice, now realizing that he came out from a door on the right and everyone was staring. I didn't even realize he went somewhere but more importantly, why was everyone staring? Nathan and Jason began walking towards the elevators. I stood there watching everyone's face plastered with a smile, my own one confused. Then all of a sudden they began doing what they were doing before, minding their own business again. Okay is it just me or was that super weird?

Matt then grabbed my hand and walked to the elevator also, just in time for me to see that Jason had his index finger on a digital pad on the wall that looked as if it was scanning it then 'Jason Austin Cooper' showed up and he walked into the elevator. Technology? Wow. Matt then did the same thing while answering my unasked question.

"You don't have to do it, your finger print isn't in the system" then adding a very silent 'yet' which I somehow heard. His name then appeared on the pad and we walked in. The three boys then pressed the same button, marked 'Conference Room' in the order they came into the elevator and we began going up. Matt did say I would get answers, I guess the conference room is where that would happen. It was the topmost button. I looked at all the buttons counting them silently. Twenty-two floors. Wow. This place was wowing me a lot.

We then came to a stop and the elevator doors opened. It was like a little waiting room with a huge sofa on the left and a coffee table with magazines and on the right was a tiny middle aged woman who sat behind a desk on her computer. She wore a blue skirt suit and had her brown hair in a neat bun. She stood up instantly when she saw Matt and nodded her head in welcome with a smile on her face. After Matt returned a nod she sat and continued doing whatever she was doing on the computer. Nathan and Jason then walked to the double doors and stood, which I am guessing the conference room is behind, while Matt stopped and turned to me. He looked a little nervous.

"Okay there are a lot of people in that room" he pointed to where Jason and Nathan were standing, "just a heads up" he chuckled but I could tell it was a nervous one. Now I wondered what was going on. Why was he nervous?

"You are going to hear things in there that you may not believe is true but I can assure you right now that they will be 100% true." Okaaayyyy..... I don't even know what to think right now.

"Remember the dream, the pain and..." he hesitated, "and how you feel safe with me." WOAH HOW THE HELL DOES HE KNOW THAT?! Okay, be calm Lils the poor boy is already nervous.

"Just keep an open mind, please." He stared down at me so intently "But if at any point you would like to leave, just say and Jason would take you home." His face monotonous, not giving away any emotions this time. I barely know this boy and yet I was willing to listen to him. I hope I get answers for ALL OF THIS. I gave him a small smile and nodded in understanding. We then walked towards the door as Nathan and Jason opened the doors for us and we all walked in. All conversations fell short and everybody turned to look. The room was huge, everywhere in this building was huge. It was well lit with a long table that could probably fit about 100 people at once. They must have major events in here. But right now there were about 20 people in it standing at their seats.
