"YOU BITCH!" the creature in front of me screamed and I reflexively took a little step backwards. Really though? It wasn't even like I threatened to kill his child. I just cursed him and he got so mad? Well somebody has temper issues; and it wasn't me.

"Sir you can't hurt her; not now at least." The woman's small voice came out. I looked at the creature and saw that he was indeed taking her words into consideration. His teeth shortened to their original length and the flames disappeared. He plastered a sweet smile onto his face.

"I apologize for my behavior, dear Lilly." I shuddered at his sweet tone. Sickening.

"Dinner would be here shortly and I'm assigning you a guard for when you need to do the things that a pregnancy brings" Oh. What does pregnancy brings? I would be able to use a washroom Would a normal person not need to use the washroom?

Well whatever. This could be my way out. Yup, I had a plan already brewing in the back of my head.

When it was now dark outside, Norman walked in with a man who looked to be in his mid-twenties carrying a tray.

"Don't try anything stupid, darling" Okay, he really needs to stop with the endearments. The other man quickly unlocked the cell and slid the tray in before he scrambled to quickly lock back the cell. Was I that intimidating? The guy's face showed no emotion but his fast hands looked like they were almost shaking.

I looked at the tray and saw a variety of vegetables and fruits and a cup with something. Even though it wasn't that appealing, my stomach grumbled at the sight of food. Or at least, something to eat.

"Eat up. We're going to need you strong and healthy" Norman said eagerly and then walked away leaving the man outside my cell. He just leaned against the wall opposite to my cell and continued staring at me. Okay then.

I slowly got up and walked to the tray. As much as I didn't want to eat anything they gave me, I knew that I had to survive for my child. I gingerly reached out and grabbed the plate with the fruits bringing it to my nose to smell if it was alright. I know Norman said he needed me strong and healthy but I still didn't trust him. He could've poisoned the food for all I know.

The man sitting across from me eyed me in amusement now. Wow, well I'm glad I could provide entertainment.

Before I could think anymore about anything, I started picking at the plate and within minutes everything from the tray disappeared. Yeah, I ate it all. All I could do now was hope that it wasn't really poisoned and wouldn't hurt me or my child. God, help me.

I sat back on my mattress now feeling really awkward because the man was still staring at me now, emotionless. I hugged my knees and tried to focus anywhere else but on him but his stare was burning a hole through the side of my face.

"Would you like to say something?" I asked abruptly and his eyes widened a bit.

"Uhh.. um... My name's Eric" He stuttered out. Um, okay. I didn't ask. He seemed kinda weird.

"Okay Eric, I'm Lilly" I replied, I could probably make a friend. Get him to help me escape like how it happens in the movies. Ouu great plan Lils. Yeah, that was sarcasm.

"I know who you are. You are the rightful Witch Queen. The most powerful witch to ever exist. I'm surprised you haven't figured out how to escape yet."

"I could escape?" That was all that registered and I felt like I needed more information. I needed to get him to continue talking and maybe he might just tell me what he knew.

"You could but by the looks of it you don't know just how powerful you are or even how to use your powers properly." He chuckled at me. He was right. For being the most powerful witch to exist I knew almost nothing about my powers. Lauren herself wasn't sure but how did he know?
