Beep. Beep.

Beep. Beep.

What the fuck? Someone shut that thing off.

Beep. Beep.

Oh, is that mocking me?

Beep. Beep.

This was getting me angry now.

Beep beep beep beep.

It was faster now. How was it faster now?

"DOCTOR DAVIS!" Matt?

I forced my eyes open wanting to see his face and forgetting about the beeping sound.

I slowly peeled my eyes open instantly squinting at the bright room. Everything was white. The ceiling and the walls that I could've seen.

Then Matt's face came into view. Oh, his beautiful face. I smiled up at him but he didn't return it as the doctor came into the room.

"Hello Luna. I'm Doctor Davis, I see that you are fine now" A pretty middle-aged woman said checking the monitors and her clipboard. She was dark skin and had brown hair that complimented it even more.

"Lilly" I corrected her with my name and saw when she looked at Matt silently asking for permission but he wasn't even taking us on. He was just staring harshly at the ground. Geesh, what did the ground ever do to him?

"What happened?" I then asked when I realized I was in the infirmary in the pack house.

"You fainted" Was all the doctor said and it made sense because I remembered everything. "It wasn't anything major so you could leave whenever you're ready" She smiled at me and began pulling out the things that were stuck to my back and chest. Seemed a little excessive but I didn't question it.

"Thank you" I told her and she smiled at me before leaving.

So Matt was mad at me. And he was giving me a deadly silent treatment. Since we were leaving the infirmary I realized he wasn't speaking to me or touching me except when it was completely necessary. And let me tell you, that's the total opposite of the normal Matt.

Right now I was sitting on his bed while he sat on one of the chairs by the coffee table at the side of his room. See how far he was from me? And he was just sitting there staring at me. Why?

"Matt?"

"Yes?" It came out rough and my eyes widened a bit at his tone. He was so angry.

"Never mind" I cowered away.

A few seconds passed in that uncomfortable silence.

"Lilly"

"Yeah?" My eyes met his as his voice was soft again.

"I'm angry with you for several reasons" He stated in the same sweet voice.

"Oh" how else was I supposed to respond to that? Honestly, I was getting kind of nervous knowing he's angry.

He got up from the chair and plopped himself on the other side of the bed, leaning back on the bed frame like how I was sitting.

Well, that just raised my anxiety. I didn't want him so close knowing he's angry now.

He sighed.

"Lilly you disobeyed and disrespected me all in the same day" I felt like a little child getting a lecture. I kept my hands crossed on my lap and trained my eyes down.

"I told you to get inside when we were under attack but instead you came out into the crowd." In my peripheral view, I saw his body turn to face me but I dare not look up.
