"What?" Matt sounded like he couldn't believe what he just heard.

"I accept you Matt. I accept you as my mate" I breathed into the phone propping myself on my elbows on the bed. I waited for his reply but there was silence on the other end of the phone.

"Hello?" I removed the phone from my ears to see if the call had cut but it was fine "Matt?" I prompted again.

Why wasn't he saying anything?

"Lilly," his serious voice was on. Oh God.

"I-" He paused.

Why wasn't words coming out of his mouth? He definitely was not reacting the way I thought he would.

"I am so, so fucking happy right now, I can't even find the words to express all the contentment I'm feeling inside. Oh my Moon Goddess." I chuckled at the seriousness in his tone, now realizing that I had nothing to worry about. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. I was so undoubtedly happy too knowing that I was going to spend forever with this man. This perfect man.

We talked throughout the night about all the customs and ritual that would have to be done. Matt explained to me now that I had accepted him, he would be the Alpha of his pack because his father and him had an agreement about that already. Soon, there would be an announcement where his father pass the title to him and in hand, I would be the Luna of the pack although I wasn't a werewolf. He also told me that it might be a good time for us to tell May about the supernatural stuff because he knew I would want her at the ceremony.

I felt like everything was falling into place. I could finally tell my best friend I'm a witch and I get to spend the rest of my life with my soul mate. What could be better?

Matt eventually made me go to bed around 4:30am. He stayed on the phone singing to me until I fell asleep. Although it was not as satisfying as having him here, it had to suffice.

How I woke up in time to get to classes on Friday morning before May had to drag me off my bed? I had no idea. I don't think I have ever felt this distorted. I dragged my foot on the grounds of the halls just attempting to reach from point A to B. Yeah I don't even know. I was so out of it.

"Where're the boys?" May questioned when she realized that they should be here already.

"I-uhhh" I fumbled not knowing what to say. Of course Jason leaves me to get an excuse for him.

"Heyyyy Matt and Jason aren't coming today." Alex came out of no-where. "Apparently both of them are sick. Hmm, I wonder what they were doing that both of them got sick." He continued in a thinking voice and I couldn't be more grateful when I heard May shout 'Eww' at Alex's words. We just laughed before dropping the topic and going to our respective classes.

"I am so thankful that the school day is over" I droned as May and I walked the hallways to leave. Surprisingly, I didn't feel as drained as I did in the morning but I was still tired.

"Why didn't you sleep last night again?" She asked and I just shrugged her off, hoping she won't push it any further.

"OHMYGOD!" I heard May scream and saw her run as soon as we exited the school doors and my heart literally almost came out my chest.

Assessing my surroundings, I then realized that she was hugging Jason and Matt was standing there too with his hands behind his back. His scent then flooded my nose and I felt so at ease, I broke out into a smile as he walked toward me watching me intently. He looked so tired too.

"Gosh, look what I did to you" He said stroking my cheek looking at how drained my face looked. He looked the same. Like he didn't get any sleep at all and was functioning on the last bit of reserved energy he had. There were even dark bags under his eyes. It was just one night, damn!
