two and a half years ago
Things weren't great. Emotional-wise, I mean. Everything else was good. Camera was surprisingly doing well, and I was still being pulled over by television stations to do an interview, along with Marcus and Martinus. Of course, every time we appear on tv, it's always an interview. There was always that one question that bothered me most: if there was to be a sequel to Camera, what story would it tell?
"I feel like it'll be about Sera and Tinus' relationship," Marcus had said easily. I coughed quietly, gaining his attention. Then he quickly added: "movie 'Sera and Tinus', of course."
"Because I think Camera left them hanging, you know?" he continued.
All that time, I kept my eyes solely on the ground, trying not to gain attention on myself.
"How do you think movie 'Sera and Tinus' will do?" the interviewer asked.
Marcus fell silent before Martinus started talking. "I think they'll last, you know. I mean, even before they're together they were like best friends, so I guess they trust each other because I think that's important in a rela ..."
I zoned out at that, trying to keep my mind off where I was at. I tried thinking about cows dancing in sparkly blue tutus, singing goats, and anything else that will keep my mind busy for the time being.
From the corner of my eyes, I could see someone's eyes focused on me and I look up. Marcus gave me a worrying look as Martinus continued to blab about movie 'Sera and Tinus' and how they are meant to be when in real life, it's far from that.
I wanted to run out of the room so badly.
"How would you feel if..." the interviewer told us, "mind you it's if, you and Sera really got together in real life? Because I think we have a lot of fans that would love that!"
Martinus laughed, Marcus shifted on his seat whilst forcing up a smile and I bit my bottom lip. "Oh, no, not ever!" Martinus answered.
Ouch.
"Sera and I are like siblings, aren't we, Sera?" Martinus looked at me with a bright smile and with an inward sigh, I nod.
"We - we're definitely like siblings," I stuttered, "it'd be awkward, so no."
Marcus rolled his eyes but doesn't say a thing.
Oh dear Lord please help.
"Okay, back to the question about Camera's sequel," the interviewer clapped his hands, clicking his tongue as he lifted his interview sheets, "we haven't heard of your opinion, Sera, please do tell."
I sighed.
"If there's to be a sequel, I honestly think that it's going to be more focused on Sera's career."
"Why?"
"I don't know," I said honestly this time, "I just feel like Martinus and her wont click and they'd go separate ways."
Marcus glared at me but I ignored it.
