Klaus, Nicole, Elijah, Diego, and many of the other vampires are congregating in the courtyard, discussing their current situation. "Ah! Someone will die for this." Klaus says through gritted teeth. "Remarkably, I don't disagree. However, I would like to know where they learned such dark magic." Elijah says puzzled. "I've never seen any dark magic like that in any of the grimoires I've read." Nicole says shaking her head in astonishment. "I had hoped never to see that symbol again. I recall it is the signature of a fool who once stood against us." Nicole's head snapped up. "Wait, you've dealt with this magic before?" She asked curious. "Yes and clearly, some upstart witch is salvaging old tricks." Elijah says to Nicole. "I'll do to him as I did the other." Klaus says and turns to Diego. "Diego, when night falls, I want you to gather every vampire in the Quarter. Get me the head of whoever did this and put it on a stick." Klaus says with anger. Diego bites his lip. "Yeah. That's gonna be a problem. Everyone is freaked out, man. We haven't had witches killing vampires in a long time. Marcel made sure of that." Diego says trying to stay quiet. "Marcel has run off like a scared child. You lot are left with me. Now, who of you will fight to defend our home?" Klaus addresses the lot and looks around to see that no one comes forward. "Not a single one of you will stand with me, so afraid are you of this new threat? You should know better. I'll handle this myself." Klaus says and storms off. Nicole just shrugs at Elijah and goes upstairs to her room.

Nicole walks upstairs and sees Jeremy's door is open. She pauses in his doorway and sees him sleeping. She just stood there admiring him. He looked so at peace. Like a child who was taking a nap. She suddenly had the urge to go and cuddle with him. Before she realized what she was doing she was in his room next to his sleeping body. She knelt down so she was face to face with him. She didn't want to wake him but she saw his hand laying next to his head and she began to trace the lines of his palm. She heard his breathing change and saw his eyes start to open. "Sorry." Nicole mutters, instantly dropping her hand from Jeremy's hand and blushing profusely. " Hey, It's ok." Jeremy replied while slipping his hand back into yours. He smiled before squeezing Nicole's hand gently. "I don't mind." He says just staring at Nicole's face. "I didn't want to wake you. You usually sleep like the dead." Nicole says and giggles. Jeremy chuckles. "Yeah well it's kinda hard to sleep when I can smell you and your tickling my hand." He says smiling. Nicole's smile turned to a look of fear. "I smell?!" She asks panicking. Jeremy laughs. "I mean your perfume. You always wear the same perfume; I love it." He says looking down and avoiding eye contact. Nicole was again blushing. "Well at least I don't smell bad. You scared me for a sec." Nicole says trying to crack a joke. Jeremy smiled. "Speaking of smelling, I need to shower." He says getting out of bed. Nicole stood up and gave him some space for him to get out of bed. Jeremy walked to her and kissed her cheek. Nicole's breath hitched in her throat. "I'll see you later?" He asks. Nicole just nodded. He smiled and walked into the bathroom. Nicole let out the breath she was holding. She was so in love; Jeremy literally took her breath away.

Elijah walks into Davina's old bedroom, where he finds Hayley looking at Davina's old sketches. "There you are." He says entering. Hayley turns to look at him. "Here I am." She says smiling. Elijah stands next to her and gestures to the sketches. "Davina's drawings." He says. Hayley shrugs. "Yeah. Morbid, I know. I was just thinking... we never figured out why she drew those pictures of Celeste. Anyway, I'm just killing time, now that I'm on vampire lock-down." She says rolling her eyes. "Whoever did this, we will deal with them. It won't be long." He says trying to reassure her. "I'm not worried. Just think it's kind of funny that it took some big, supernatural threat for you to even come into the same room as me." She hit a nerve. "I do apologize if you feel neglected. I have been occupied. My siblings are in some quarrel. Niklaus remains agitated. You'll recall that even our slightest interactions seem to infuriate him." He explains. "So Klaus is a dick, and you want to be a good big brother. So we can't hang out. That sum it up? I get it, Elijah. It just seems like a really crappy deal." Hayley is slightly annoyed and walks away.
