Saving Hayley, Mikael's Threat, Nicole and Hayley's Escape

THE MIKAELSON COMPOUND

In the present, Elijah is pacing at Hayley's bedside as Genevieve continues to work her spell. "I'm taking her to a real doctor." Elijah says as he attempts to pick up Hayley. "If you move her from here, my spell will break. There won't be enough time to get her to a hospital." Genevieve says trying to continue the spell. "Will the baby survive if delivered now?" Klaus asks her frantically. He lunges for Hayley's body. "I'll rip it out of her myself!" He yells. Within a moment Elijah blocks Klaus from touching Hayley. "Hayley will bleed to death!" Genevieve yells back at him. "I won't lose another chance to raise my child. I will not lose that baby." Klaus says close to tears. "I won't lose either of them." Elijah says calmly. As Genevieve is saying her spell she receives a vision of Monique using the poppet to cast the spell on Hayley, and is stunned. "I know what to do. Get my bag, the gris-gris pouch! Now!" She yells as Hayley continues to lay still on the table, as Genevieve dabs a wet cloth on her head.

On the Other Side, Hayley, Nicole and Mikael are still facing off. "You're dead, Mikael." Hayley says to him. "Your son already beat you!" Nicole says to him as a jab. "He is not my son!" Mikael bellows at them. "he may not be your blood, but he's just as much of a monster as you expected him to be. You made him that way." Nicole pushes Hayley to the stairs. They both run over to the stairs as Mikael quickly walks over as well. "He's a scourge, a walking symbol of weakness!" Mikael yells as he walks. Nicole kicks at the banister to the staircase to break off a piece of wood to use as a stake, and makes her way up the stairs in front of Hayley as Mikael continues to stalk them menacingly. "There is no saving that atrocity festering in your womb." He says gesturing behind Nicole to Hayley. "Klaus will destroy it, one way or another. Better he dies now, and you both along with it!" Mikael jumps up onto the second floor balcony, startling Nicole and Hayley.

In the present, Genevieve spreads salt around Hayley on the table as she continues to get visions of Monique casting the original spell. Genevieve crushes herbs with her fingers and spreads them over Hayley's body.

On the Other Side, Hayley and Nicole grab hands and jump down onto the first floor. In no time, so is Mikael. They spin around rapidly. Hayley grabs the stake from Nicole, rushes behind him, stabbing him in the heart with the stake from behind. He screams in agony. "Nicole and my daughter have an advantage Klaus never had-- they will never, ever know you." She says through gritted teeth. She grabs Nicole's hand and they are out of The Other Side. Hayley and Nicole awake with a loud gasp, Klaus' runs and hugs Nicole as Elijah helps Hayley sit up. "You're alright, loves. You're alright." He says to both of them. Hayley grabbed Nicole's hand again for comfort. "We saw him. He tried to kill me." Hayley says out of breath. Klaus and Elijah look to Nicole for answers. "We saw Mikael." She says with fear in her eyes. Elijah and Klaus now have fear on their faces.
