Later, Elijah finds the place where Rebekah was attacked in the woods. However, Rebekah is gone-- the only evidence of their fight are the dead wolves lying around, and Rebekah's black leather jacket on the ground next to them. Suddenly, Celeste appears behind him, followed by Bastianna and Genevieve. "Missing something?" Celeste asks with a smirk. Elijah glares at her threateningly, but she just laughs. "You won't hurt me. I'm the only one alive who can break the curse on Hayley's family. And Genevieve knows where your sister is. Bastianna has Klaus, tucked away someplace safe. He's suffering horribly, I might add. And all because you chose to save the little wolf instead of your own blood." When Elijah lunges toward her, she uses magic to bring him to his knees. He screams in pain. "What a horrific ending to your pathetic, diseased family. I guess 'always' isn't forever, after all." She says with sarcasm.

PLANTATION HOUSE

Nicole and Jeremy are sitting next to each other silently as Hayley and Jackson are standing outside in front of the burning plantation house. Jackson sighs and points to the sky. "I have to go. The moon." He smiles. "Listen, Jackson. I wanna thank you for protecting me. Not just tonight." Hayley says. Nicole is watching intently. She sees the chemistry between them. "I have been dreaming about this since I was a kid. I never thought it would go like this." He says and turns to walk away. "Hey. I won't stop until I'll find a way to break this curse. I promise." Hayley says trying to assure him. Jackson says nothing. Nicole walks up to him. "Hey!" Jackson stops and looks at Nicole. "Jackson is it?" She asks. "Yeah? You're the witch who saved us." He says with a small smile. Nicole nods. "Thanks, not many witches are itching to help us wolves." He says to Nicole extending his hand to thank her. "Well, I'm a wolf too. And I should thank you; for protecting Hayley. This family owes you big time." She says shaking his hand. "I will help Hayley find a way to break the curse. You have my word." She says with sincerity. He gives her a nod and gives Hayley a long look before he leaves. Nicole turns back to Hayley. "We're gonna break that curse. I promise you that Hayley. Even if I have to do it myself." Nicole says giving Hayley a smile.
