THE BAYOU

Nicole followed Oliver back to the bayou and watched quietly. She decided to make her entrance. "Hello Boys." She announces and saunters over to them. Jackson and Oliver stop talking when they see her. "Secrets huh?" This made her suspicious. Hayley came outside and saw what was happening. "What is this? High School?" Nicole asked toward the boys. "Why don't you both take the hint and mind your own business?" Oliver said rudely to them. As Nicole began to charge him, Hayley grabbed him by the arm, spun him around, twisted his arm behind his back, and pinned him up against the wall, face-first. "This is my pack. That girl is a wolf. That makes it my business." Hayley looked to Nicole and nods. Nicole nodded back in thanks. "No need to get all riled up. It's not good for you, Hayley." Jackson said trying to calm her. "I have tried to play nice." She continued twisting his arm harder. "The last month of pregnancy is all hormones and mood swings, so unless you want me to snap your arm like a twig, I suggest that you tell me what is going on." Hayley said through gritted teeth. "You can go to hell." Oliver said angrily. "Knock it off. There's no reason to keep it from her or Nicole." Jackson said to Oliver. "I can think of a reason. Tall and immortal and wears a pocket scarf." Oliver said as he fights against her, but she forcefully pins him back down again. "My Uncle Elijah?" Nicole asked confused. "Uhh!" Oliver grunted in pain. "Hayley, you're one of us. Nicole, you're a wolf by your father's bloodline. You both deserve to know. Now, go on." Jackson said trying to convince her. Hayley looked at Nicole asking for her opinion. Nicole nodded. They needed the truth. Hayley reluctantly releases him and turns to Jackson for an explanation. "We made an alliance that's gonna change everything for the wolves." Jackson said so sure of himself. Nicole's head snapped to Oliver. Now realizing why Oliver was bringing Cary to her father. "An alliance with who?" Hayley asked angrily. "My dad." Nicole said bringing her gaze back to Jackson. He nodded silently. Nicole and Hayley exchanged confused glances. "Tell me everything." Hayley said starting to calm down.

LYCEE

Klaus has come to see Genevieve to ask for her help treating Father Kieran. "You came all this way to beg for some human's life?" She asks. "Father Kieran's time is running out, and he has been an ally to me." Klaus explains plainly. "Your ally, and Cami's uncle. Sorry. As I've already said, there's no way to undo that hex." She said, her tone laced with jealousy. "Oh, come on. You and I both know there's always a loophole." Klaus said encouragingly. "Not for this. At least not among my people. Although, I do wonder. Your mother was powerful. She would have had access to all manner of spells. Perhaps I could take a look through her grimoire." She hints slyly. "You want to use father Kieran's ailment as an excuse to look through my mother's spell book. Very devious." Klaus said seeing through her tricks. "Come on. The grimoire is worthless to you. But with it's power, I could solidify my place in the coven." She said trying to persuade him again. "No, I'm sorry, love. It's bad enough my mother's power was consecrated with your ancestors. The last thing I need is for you to get a look at an entire book of her dirty, little tricks. Besides I gave the book to Nicole so she could practice. I don't know what she's done with it." He said in hopes she would drop the topic. "That's unfortunate. Particularly for poor father Kieran. I guess you'll be the one to tell Cami."Klaus lunged at Genevieve and pinned her in a choke-hold against the table. He leaned in close to her face. "You think you have leverage over me? I will not be manipulated." Klaus said through gritted teeth. Genevieve whispers a spell. "Vamisa la visia." Klaus groaned in pain and released Genevieve, who rises to her feet. "And I won't be threatened. So, between the two of us, we each know where we stand. As long as we can retain that mutual respect, I don't see a need for any further demonstrations of power. Don't call me again." She said and stomped out of the room.
