Helping Hayley, Nicole Connects to Hayley, & The Other Side

THE MIKAELSON COMPOUND

Klaus and Elijah quickly carry Hayley into the compound and lay her on a table. Nicole and Genevieve follow them, in hopes of helping. "I can help—" Genevieve began but Elijah pushes her away from the table. "Don't you touch her!" His temper frightened Genevieve and Nicole. "Let it be, Elijah. She was a nurse." Klaus says trying to make Elijah back off. "There's a spell I can do. Klaus, get chamomile from the pantry." She says then looks at Hayley, who is barely conscious. "She's trembling." Nicole says as she notices Hayley shivering. "Your jacket, Elijah." Genevieve says fast. Elijah removes his jacket and lays it over Hayley. "She's not breathing, I can hear the baby's heartbeat, but not hers." Elijah says panicking.

Genevieve checks Hayley's pulse. As she's doing this Nicole puts her hand on Hayley's head and is pulled into Hayley's mind. The Compound is cold and dimly lit. Nicole realizes she and Hayley are on the Other Side. Nicole sees Hayley on the table. "Hayley!" Nicole yells as she runs to her. As Nicole touches her; Hayley awakens on the table. "Nicole?" Hayley asks. Nicole nods and helps Hayley off the table. They hug but are interrupted by another presence in the room... Mikael. He walks toward them, Nicole and Hayley automatically back away from him. "Who the hell are you?" Nicole asks trying to hide her fear. Mikael tilts his head at them. "I suppose I'm family." Mikael says with a smirk. Realization hits Nicole like a ton of bricks. He has Elijah's jaw line, blonde hair like Rebekah... She knows exactly who it is. "Mikael." She says with fear in her voice. His smirk widens. "Hello, Nicole." He says eyeing her the way he eyes Niklaus; like an bug that needs to be squashed.

Genevieve presses damp bundle of chamomile against Hayley's forehead and chants a spell in French/Creole while Nicole is still in a trance. "Should we pull Nicole out?" Elijah asks concerned for his neice. "No, if she's with Hayley, she's our only connection to her." Klaus says. Frustrated and scared, he bites into his wrist and dribbles in into Hayley's mouth in hopes that it will heal her. "Come on!" Klaus screams then looks at Elijah in fear. "She's still not breathing. It's not working!" Elijah says angrily; then in his rage he throws a table against the brick wall, shattering it into pieces.

On the Other Side, Nicole and Hayley are scared, and back further away from Mikael as he approaches them. "I assume my reputation precedes me." Mikael says to them with a proud look. "This is a nightmare. I'm dreaming." Hayley says in disbelief. "On the contrary, my darling-- this is very real." Mikael says to her with a smirk. He vamp-speeds over to Hayley and puts her in a headlock, and Hayley gasps in fright. "No!" Nicole yells at him but he extends his fangs to scare her more. "Welcome to my hell-- stuck in an eternity of watching over that hideous creature my children call brother!" He yells while holding Hayley. "You're dead! How can I be here?" Hayley asks terrified. "Hayley, it's gonna be okay!" Nicole says to her trying to calm her. Hayley realizes where she and Nicole are. "Oh my god! NO!" Hayley screams and thrashes around in his grip. "Noo! The baby!" She yells again almost in tears. "The baby?" Mikael asks with venom in his words. Hayley screams again. "That kid never had a chance! And as if your bloodline isn't filth enough, you poison it by merging it with Klaus'?" He laughs manically. "He's a good Father, unlike you, you bastard!" Nicole yells at him. Mikael turns and laughs at her. "The deathless vermin, fancying himself a daddy? He already ruined Nicole." He said as he looks at Nicole. "She was completely oblivious to all of this! She was innocent! Now look at her! She kills to protect monsters!" He rants on. Nicole is incredibly pissed but knows what Mikael is saying is true. Hayley's eyes turn lupine-gold, and she shrieks as she pushes herself out of his grip and breaks his arm by twisting it behind his back. Then, she picks up a coat rack and swings it at his head with all the force she can muster. "Nicole's not dead! I'm not dead! If I was dead, you wouldn't be trying to kill me!" Hayley yells at him in realization.
