Hayley and Eve are in their shack, where Eve is helping Hayley prepare for giving birth. "That's it. Inhale and release." Eve says, coaching Hayley. "I guess this means no epidural, huh? You sure I can't do this thing in, say, a hospital? The place with the doctors and the drugs?" Hayley says with a chuckle. "Honey, the werewolves have been having babies out here since before you were born. Stop worrying." Eve says with confidence. "Okay. Then what, Eve? I don't even know what it's like to have a mother, let alone be one." Hayley has a look of sadness on her face. "Trust me, when the time comes, you'll know exactly what to do." Eve says while rubbing her back. "I hope so. As fun as it is to image Klaus changing dirty diapers, I'm pretty sure that I'll be doing this alone." Hayley says in defeat. "Not while I'm around." Nicole says walking into the shack. "Hey Nicole. How you been?" Eve asks and walks over to Nicole to hug her. Nicole hugs Eve back. "Good to see you Eve." Nicole says pulling out of the hug. "Excuse my interruption." Says a voice behind Nicole. She knows the voice. Her eyes roll when she realizes who it is. She turns and sees Elijah. "You really eavesdropped and followed me?' Nicole asks in anger. "Well you didn't exactly leave me an option." Elijah says with sass.. "I wonder if I might have a quick word with the conspirators of a supposed uprising." He says to Hayley and Eve.

Nicole, Elijah, Hayley and Eve meet with Jackson and Oliver. "Gentlemen, You're making a grave mistake." Elijah says with certainty. "So, you're just worried about us. Is that it?"Oliver asks in disbelief. "Look, Elijah. We know all about your brother's reputation, but if there is even a chance that these rings can help us take control of our curse-" Oliver cuts him off. "Our gift!" Jackson sighs. "Then, honestly, we don't care what he's really after. Won't have to." He says with no guilt. Nicole looked at Elijah with a confused glance. She was wondering what Klaus was getting out of this besides their gratitude; which he'd probably manipulate and take advantage of. "I see. There are those in the Quarter who will consider this a great provocation." Elijah stated. "Apparently, most of them see us breathing the same way." Oliver says with attitude toward Elijah. "Watch it Oliver." Nicole says stepping closer to Elijah. Elijah turned to Hayley. "You signed a pledge, and you looked me in the eye as you did so." He says reminding her. "We don't want a fight, Elijah. We just want a better life." Hayley says simply. "I hate to say it but this seems really sketchy guys." Nicole says looking at them. "Nicole is right. An allegiance with my brother will guarantee you anything but that." Elijah says as if he's positive of this outcome. They hear the sound of a motorbike approaching, and cut their argument short to go see who it is. "What the hell?" Jackson asks walking out the door.

Outside, a man on a motorbike rides into the encampment and stops as the group approach him. "Which one of you is in charge?" The stranger asks rather calmly. "Who's asking?" Jackson asks crossing his arms. Elijah notices something off about the man, and reflexively tackles him, just as the motorbike explodes. Everyone is thrown backwards in the blast. Elijah picks himself up off the ground. His clothes and skin are all singed and covered in ash. It takes a moment for Elijah's ears to heal enough to hear anything. He sees injured people all around him stumbling around, including Nicole, Jackson, Oliver, and Hayley. Nicole gets up and uses her powers to fix her hearing. She spots Hayley and runs over to her. "Are you guys okay?" Nicole asks her and Oliver as he tries to help her. Hayley gets up quickly and runs over to where everyone else is. Nicole follows her and sees a little boy standing next to a severely injured man, and immediately runs over to help. Nicole picks up the little boy and hugs him. "It's ok. Here. I'm here. Hayley!" Nicole says trying to calm him. Hayley runs over to Nicole. "Oh, God. Jackson?" Hayley yells as she walks over to where Nicole is. "Here. Get him away from here." Nicole says handing him to Jackson. He takes the child and walks away.

Elijah runs over to the girls. "Nicole!" He grabs her and hugs the life out of her. "I'm okay Uncle Elijah. I promise." He pulls out of the hug and smiles at her, "Thank God. Your father would've killed me." They both laugh. He sees Hayley. "Hayley." He says looking her over. "Elijah." She says with panic in her voice. Hayley and Elijah kneel next to the injured man. Elijah lifts his shirt to find chemical and heat burns. "Wolfsbane." Elijah says recognizing the wounds. "Dammit!" Nicole says immediately feeling that Marcel is behind the attack. "It must have been in the gas tank. You're the fastest. Take him, anyone else who can't walk on their own." Hayley says looking at the injured around them. Elijah looks at Hayley in concern. "It's okay, Elijah. I'm fine. Nicole's here. They need your help." Hayley says then her and Nicole walk over to where Oliver is helping treat a werewolf who has been impaled with a tree branch. "Just hang in there, okay?" Nicole sees that Oliver is about to pull it out and runs over to them. "Oliver, no!" She yells as he pulls out the branch. The girl screams in pain. "Oh, God." Nicole says seeing the blood. Hayley grabs Eve's hands. "Press here." Hayley says to Eve. She turns to Oliver. "Give me your shirt." She says to Oliver. He quickly removes his tee shirt and hands it to Hayley who uses the shirt to make a tourniquet. "Now! It's okay." Hayley says with relief. "How'd you learn how to do that?" Eve asks impressed at Hayley. "You get a hell of an education when you leave home at thirteen. That should slow the bleeding, at least until the healing kicks in." Hayley says with a small smile.

Oliver stands up and throws a nearby trashcan in anger. Nicole and Eve jump a bit and get startled. "Oh! Argh! Vampires. They don't even have the guts to do their own dirty work themselves. I mean, why bother when you can just compel some poor son-of-a-bitch to do it for you? I say we hit them back! Hard." Oliver yells in fury. Hayley pushes him against a shack. "Stay here, Oliver. I need you to look after everyone until I get back." She says walking away. "Where the hell are you going?" Oliver asks confused. "If this was vampires, I'm pretty sure that I can guess who gave the order. I'm gonna go find Marcel." She grabs a tree branch from the ground and breaks it into a stake before leaving. "Hayley stop! I'm coming with you!" Nicole yells and follows her.
