Hayley lead Nicole, Elijah and Klaus through the maze of tombs in the cemetery's illusion toward her and Klaus' daughter. Meanwhile, Genevieve, Monique, and Abigail continued their spell around the baby whilst Genevieve held the athame above the baby, preparing to complete the sacrifice.

Hayley, Nicole, Elijah and Klaus turned a corner and saw Genevieve holding a knife above the baby's head."NOOO!" Hayley screamed and Nicole reacted by releasing a spell that forced the vibration of Haley's scream at the witches to knock their concentration off. Elijah then picked up an urn and lobbed it at the witches, which slammed against Genevieve's hand and knocked the athame onto the ground. The three then ran toward them, so Monique and Abigail held each other's hands and channeled the ancestors' power to throw all of them except Nicole backwards, because she wasn't a vampire; while Genevieve hurriedly looked for the athame. "La mère, le père, le frère, la sœur... La mère, le père, le frère, la sœur..." Abigail said clearly. Nicole blocked her spell from hitting her. "You fools! To come against us in our place of power in our strongest hour? You don't face three, you face us all!" Monique shouts at them. As they continue to use magic against them, Nicole, Elijah and Klaus can see that hundreds and hundreds of the dead witches have come together to protect them as they complete their sacrifice. "They won't hurt me." Nicole whispered so only the men would hear her. "I'm a witch. They can't hurt me." She said with a devilish smirk on her face. Nicole lifted her foot and stomped onto the pavement which sent a earthquake type spell toward Monique and Abigail.

Klaus and Hayley each ran in opposite directions, while Elijah and Nicole continued to rush straight towards them, in hopes of overpowering them with his strength and her magic. Hayley found Genevieve picking up the athame, and punched her to keep her from using it against the baby. She once again knocked the knife out of her hand and into the ground. Klaus wound up cornered by the spirits of Papa Tunde's twin sons, who then telekinetically threw Klaus into a tomb, shattering it. Hayley knocked Genevieve down and ran toward the baby, but Genevieve cast a pain infliction spell on Hayley, which makes her fall onto her knees. Meanwhile, Monique and Abigail were still using their combined powers to channel the full strength of the ancestors with Nicole trying to counteract their chanting while Elijah fought to get close enough to them to kill them.

Klaus pulled himself out of the tomb and angrily rushes toward the action. Klaus looked to his right and saw a wrought iron fence. He walks over and broke off one of the spikes then threw it as hard as he could toward Abigail, which impaled her through the stomach and killed her, which broke the connection that she and Monique had to the ancestors. Nicole smirked when she felt their magic dying down. She could kill Monique now. Within that second Monique quickly ran to grab the athame to finish the sacrifice herself. Klaus and Elijah vamp-speed toward her, but she used her magic to block them using a wall of fire. Nicole vastly countered her magic with a water spell and both girls had two elements fighting each other. "Noooo!" Hayley screamed at Monique. Genevieve continued the pain infliction spell to prevent Hayley's interference. Just as Monique was about to sacrifice the baby, she's hit with the Devil's Star, which embedded itself into her stomach. Her body became covered in cuts, and she coughed up blood. She looked to Nicole for a second. Nicole glared at her"For Sophie you bitch." Nicole spat at her before Monique fell dead on the ground. Nicole, Klaus and Elijah turn around in shock and fear to see that Marcel was the one who saved the baby. Before they could say anything, Marcel vamp-sped to the baby, and then vamp-sped away with it. Klaus followed after him. Nicole walked up to the alter to look at the fallen witches. She looked at Genevieve and glared at her. "This is all on you and the ancestors. They rose again like they were supposed to and now they're dead. Their blood is on your hands." Nicole said with hate and disdain in her voice. Genevieve showed no remorse on her face. She remained silent and stoic.
