THE MIKAELSON COMPOUND

Nicole and Elijah are in the courtyard. Nicole watches as Elijah tries to call Rebekah. "Rebekah is not answering her calls." He states worried. Nicole walks up to him. "You worried about whoever killed those daywalkers still being out there?" Nicole asks her Uncle. "Frankly, I'm worried that she had something to do with this. She's very displeased with Niklaus, perhaps even conspiring with others." Elijah notices Thierry drinking alone at a table and joins him. "Thierry, is it?" Thierry looks nervous. "That's right. Nicole." Thierry tips his hat to Nicole. Nicole returns his greeting with a fake smile. Nicole stands behind Elijah with her arms crossed. "My sister is rather fond of you. Strange, she's not typically drawn to unremarkable men. Would you care to explain your sudden magnetism?" Elijah asks. "I don't know what you're--" Elijah, annoyed, cuts him off by grabbing him by the throat and pushing him against the wall. Nicole smirks and follows behind him. "You can either tell me what you know, or Nicole here can shoot you with wooden bullets until you are dead and then I can distribute tiny pieces of you throughout the Quarter." He says angrily. Nicole pulled out her glock and aimed it at Thierry. "One bullet to the brain; I can only imagine how hard it'll be to get it out." Nicole said lining up her shot. Thierry gives in. "Okay! Okay! She asked me to keep an eye out on witch stuff. I found something, and when I showed her, we were jumped by some guy. He desiccated her with his touch." Elijah and Nicole are angry. "Like the coward I knew you were; you left her." Nicole spat. "What was I supposed to do, fight some warlock that took out an Original?" Thierry asks panicked. "You filthy bloodsucking--" Nicole began but Elijah cut her off. "Where was this, exactly?" he asks through gritted teeth. "The docks, warehouse 57. I was just doing what she asked. You cannot tell Klaus about this." Elijah waits a moment before snapping his neck and allowing his body to drop to the floor. "I shall take that into consideration." He says and walks away. Nicole bends down to Thierry. "I'm gonna make sure you are sent back to the garden for this one." She whispered to him. She ran to catch up with Elijah. "I'm coming with you." She says with determination. "No Nicole. Stay here. The compound is safe." He pressed on. "Uncle Elijah, Rebekah is in trouble. I'm going." She said and started walking ahead of him. He grabbed her arm. "Do not leave my sight. Understand?" He says sternly. Nicole nods, and the two leave for the docks.

ROUSSEAU'S

Marcel and Cami continue to drink with each other at the bar. "Me calling things off with you wasn't lack of interest. I was hoping to save you from all this." Marcel says. "Well, thanks, Romeo, but I'm in it. So, when are you gonna get to the good part with Klaus and that Papa guy?" Marcel falls into another memory. "Papa Tunde said he wanted to empower the witches. Mostly, he wanted money and territory. Klaus and Elijah weren't about to give him either. He didn't like that, so he went on a rampage. No one was safe. Not the humans in the faction. Not the Guerrera werewolves. He even went after the witches who opposed him. Elijah offered a truce. He gave his word, in fact, but Klaus, being Klaus, he had another idea."

FLASHBACK-- NEW ORLEANS, 1919

Papa Tunde is waiting in their meeting place when he hears someone enter. "You're late, Elijah. It's not like the noble brother to keep me waiting." He turns around. "I'm sorry, mate. Elijah is the brother you meet when negotiations are to be had. I'm the one you get when negotiations are closed." Klaus replies with a smirk. "You do not scare me. You have no idea the power I possess." Tunde says threateningly. Klaus smiles slyly. "Oh, in fact, I made it a point to learn all about your power. I noticed how you're almost always near those twin sons of yours, how they bear your distinctive mark. Got me to thinking-- you channel their power, don't you? Which, of course, begs the question: what would happen were that power to be taken away, if those sons whose lives you depend on were suddenly struck down? What of that power then?" Marcel brings in a box and sets it down. Papa Tunde looks into the box and sees the severed heads of his twin sons. Tunde is enraged but remains composed. "I will kill you for this." He whispers with venom in his words. "I cannot be killed. You, however..." Klaus zooms over to him and presses his thumbs into Papa Tunde's eyes and in through his brain, eventually killing him.

PRESENT DAY-- ROUSSEAU'S

Cami is horrified. "That's awful!" She has fear and disgust written all over her face. "Oh, to Klaus, it's just business." Marcel responds non challant. "And don't you think there's something fundamentally wrong with that? Don't you worry you'll end up one of his victims or, worse, just like him?" Cami asks as Papa Tunde suddenly appears in the bar. "Poor Marcellus. You remain always in the shadow of your father. Climb out from beneath it, will you, so you can die like a man?" He says with a scorn on his face. "Cami, you need to run now. Don't look back. Just go." Marcel says standing in front of her and ushering her to the back of the bar. "I think she should stay. I prefer an audience, and I'm about to put on quite the show." He says with a dark smile. Cami is scared. "Marcel?" Marcel does not look at her. "I said get out of here." He raises his voice trying to scare Cami. Cami, terrified, hesitates in the doorway, not wanting to leave Marcel alone. "You cannot defeat me. I channel the power of an Original vampire. Soon, I will have all three. But first, I will take you." Papa Tunde told Marcel with a sick smirk.
