Sneak Out

KADEN'S POV

"Hello?" Inaantok na wika ko sa kabilang linya as I lazily open my left eye to look at the wall clock and saw its 2am in the morning.

I waited for someone to answer me on the other line yet tahimik lang ang background nito.

"Whatever..." I murmured half asleep and annoyed. Humanda talaga si Hunter sakin bukas dahil sa pag p-prank sakin.

Papatayin ko na sana ang call ng biglang mag salita ang nasa kabilang linya.

In an instance, all my sleepiness fade away as I heard its voice. A voice I don't recognize. Mabilis ko namang tiningnan ang caller I.D and its unknown. Calling me on my second number.

[Hello Viper.] Tawag nito sa alias ko gamit ang pantay at walang kabuhay buhay na tono. I can sense its a man by its voice roughness.

"Who are you?" Agad kong tanong. This is the second time someone used the number that Hunter gave me.

I have to talk to Hunter about this as soon as possible.

[I'm someone who's watching you.] Watching me? Is this man also a member in Shura?

"How do you got this numb-"

[I will be on your solidarity party, tonight. Catch me if you can. I might answer some of your questions.] Then he hung up the call.

I was left speechless for the moment contemplating on what to do before jumping out of my bed holding my phone and heading towards the door. I put my hooded jacket and shoes on and slowly open the door not making any noise to avoid someone waking up. I also bought my keys with me.

Guess I'll be sneaking out right now.

Matapos non ay sinalubong ako ng katahimikan ng paligid saka malamig na simoy ng hangin pagka sara ko ng pinto.

I exited the building quietly while looking around before entering the back forest and stop midways. My eyes glisten before pulling the sheets out revealing my baby, Yamaha R1.

I smiled at the sight while playing with my motor key. I picked the sticky note that's pasted on the tank and started reading it using my phone's light.

Mas lalo pang lumawak ang ngiti ko ng mabasa ang sulat na galing kay Lion. I guess pinadala nya ito 3 days ago.

Hindi na ako nag aksaya pa ng oras at sumampa na dito. I put my phone into google map and search for any route I can take to leave this forest without leaving in front of villa. Ng makita ko ang pwedeng daanan ay sinuot ko na ang helmet saka nilagay ang phone sa phone clipper at pinaandar ang motor.
