I recommend changing the name, because uh, doesn't it mean drug? It's creative, but it doesn't make quite enough sense. That is, unless he renamed himself that, and had a previous birth name that made more sense.

Ooh, gang leader. I'll admit I've seen it before, but it's usually hybrid-related. Either way it's lovely and I love it.

Appearance: large, scarred pale cream sandwing. he has a stripe of gold running down his body & he has white frill on his back. White talons with wings fading from golden brown to white. Small, shriveled barbed tail with a black tip & green eyes. He wears bamboo horn bands & silver bands on each leg. He bears a satchel, for carrying his goods in & an earring made of amber with a dragonfly. Lots of scars, on snout, legs, torn wing membranes.

Personality: harsh, closed off, annoying, disloyal, dishonest, haunted. (For bad). Serious, smart, slick, and sly (good)

I'll be straight with you (unlike me haha), I usually prefer sentences when describing personalities, but I love this. I love him. This is so rare and honestly I can't even. He has more negative traits than positive, but I love him so much.

Backstory: laake had a perfect life. He lived in a loving family with his parents (mom & stepdad) and stepsister. His birth father took his siblings with him upon their divorce, leaving laake with them. He had a loving gf, and they went to possibility once. While there, they bought a paintimg from an artist who warned them of bad times. The oblivious couple shrugged it off. As they were leaving, dragonflame cacti bombings were set upon the town. Several were killed, his gf included. Laake, grieving, met a group of ruffians. They used drugs to make themselves feel better. Laake joined them and gradually became a druggie. Now, he runs a business with dragons from all tribes. They buy and sell drugs and Laake leads them.

Wow... was the painting animus-touched? I'll assume so, because that is some bad luck. Poor Lääke. It's a good backstory, if a bit sad.

BUT, you didn't mention anything happening before he got his loving gf, other than the divorce thing. Something must have happened when he was younger, other than that. How did Lääke feel about the divorce? Was he rich, poor? Did he have any childhood friends? You're missing that sort of detail here, but otherwise it's a great backstory.

Makes sense, for a druggie. But wait, what happened to his mother, stepfather and stepsister?

The main problems were the names and the lack of detail in the backstory. Otherwise, Lääke is awesome.
