When I was only a child my father forced me to stay with Bobby, my adoptive grandfather, whenever he was on a hunt. He told me that I wasn't aloud to hunt or leave the house unless he was with me and knew where I was. One day I was tired of Bobby's and my dad's rules so I snuck out and decided to hunt a vampire with a "friend". I smiled as I made my way home beside my "friend" and then walked inside quietly.
"Where did you go?" A voice asked from the living room.
"I went out." I said softly.
"With a machete?" Bobby asked glaring at me.
"I'm not a child Bobby! I'm almost seventeen years old! Dean and Uncle Sam was younger than me when they started hunting." I said as he looked at me with a frown.
"Your dad wants you not to have his life! I'm sorry (y/n) but your grounded go to your room.... now!" Bobby snapped as I looked at him shocked.
I pushed past him and ran upstairs to my room. I slammed the door shut and crawled on my bed, pulling my knees to my chest.
"I miss you mom." I said through tears.
I laid down on my bed and fell asleep. When I woke up it was 7 in the morning and the sun was shining through my windows. I let out a groan as I walked out of my room and past Bobby. He looked at me sadly as I made my way into the kitchen and grabbed a apple before walking up the stairs and slamming my door shut. I let out a sigh as I ate my apple and then looked out the window. I let out a sigh as I waited for my dad's car to pull up and him and my uncle to come inside with my "friend". I smiled at him as I waved from my window. He smiled back before walking inside with them. I laid on my bed until I heard footsteps. I rolled on my side and pulled the covers over my head.
"You know I know your not asleep right?" My dad asked with a laugh.
"I can hope right?" I asked with a sigh.
"Where did you go?" He asked sitting on the bed beside me.
"I went hunting with a friend." I said sitting up.
"Who?" He asked calmly.
"Does it matter? I'm fine and safe and he would never let anything happen to me." I said looking up at him.
"Yea it matters now who is he?" He asked glaring down at me.
"..... Cas." I said looking away.
"I'll kill that winged rat." He said standing up.
"Dad, Cas would never let anything happen to me. Every time I sneak out he comes with me so I don't get killed." I said softly.
"Not the point. He knows I don't want you hunting." Dad said as he made his way out of my room.
I ran after him and followed him to the living room.
"Cas! I thought I told you I didn't want her hunting." Dad said glaring at him.
"If I wasn't with her she would do it without back up and get herself killed. I can't help she is as stubborn as you." Cas said calmly.
"Bobby have you done grounded her?" Dad asked looking at him.
"Yes I have." Bobby said calmly.
"Good. Cause she is staying here for the rest of the month." Dad said annoyed.
"I hate you! I wish you had died instead of mom!" I yelled pushing past him.
I made my way outside and ran down the road. I heard my dad yell for me, but I didn't care. After I ran for sometime I stopped and took a deep breath and looked around. I leaned against a tree and felt tears stream down my face. After sometime I heard someone walking towards me. I froze up as I tried to hide.
"(Y/n)?" A voice asked behind me.
I turned to see my dad looking at me sadly. I burst into tears as I hugged him tightly.
"Dad... I didn't mean it.... I just....I miss her so much." I cried as he hugged me tightly.
"I know baby.... I mis her also... but your mom is in a better place.... she and your grandma Ellen." He said kissing my forehead.
