Last night I had a nightmare. I can't remember exactly what happened, but I know that Jeremy was in it and it made me jump out of my own skin.
"You okay?", Andre asks me. His voice wakes me up and all my roaming thoughts drift. I rub my eyes and sit up straight.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks."
Andre nods and turns his head forward to continue driving.
"Have you been at the wheel all night?"
"Yeah. It's okay though. I just want to get you home safely."
That's so genuine and kind of him. "Thanks Andre. But seriously, if you need a nap or food or something, like.. just tell me."
Andre laughs. It gives me shivers. "Okay. Will do. Thanks."
I bite my lip before looking away from him. Today is going to be a long day.
