"I'm sooo tired. Like I really don't want to go to this after party but the girls are gonna drag me there. Literally. Like, by my own hair."
I quickly tie my hair up to keep the flyaways from getting caught in my lip gloss. Faine and I leave the bathrooms and start on our way back to all the families of the graduates. I notice how everyone is packing up their things and getting ready to leave.
"Oh. It looks like it's over." I tilt my head in confusion.
"Maybe they're already in the car?", Faine shrugs.
"Hopefully."
The sun shines beautifully above us. It blinds me a little bit. The fresh breeze removes the flyaways from my perfect messy bun. I sigh. Faine notices it and laughs before pulling the hair tie out of my hair and passionately kissing me as my hair falls back down. He tastes like the color yellow.
"You taste like yellow," I whisper through our kiss.
Our lips separate for a second as he cracks up at what I said. "Yellow?", he smiles.
I shrug and laugh along with him. He kisses me again and I can feel his tongue looking for an entrance into my mouth. I part my lips slightly. Just enough for him to slip in.
"You taste like vanilla."
I push him off me and smirk. "That's my lip gloss, silly."
Suddenly, someone loudly claps their hands behind us.
"Hello?! The party?!", Melissa shouts.
I look up at Faine and bite my bottom lip. "Told you."
