What kind of school has classes all the way up to graduation?! Thinking about it just makes me more frustrated. I've been so caught up with Jeremy and Andre and finding Melissa that I just completely forgot about reality. I don't even know what day of the week it is. I have no phone to be able to call anyone and to make matters worse, I don't even know what's happening back home with Mama Dee.

I'm literally the worst daughter and friend ever. I sulk onto the first step of the staircase and stare blankly into the air in front of me. I sigh. How could I have let this happen to myself? After about a minute, Melissa and Stella come running into the house.

Painting, Stella says in an out of breath voice, "Girl, I am so sorry. I didn't mean to ruin our day with what I said. I was just trying to joke around."

"You know, lighten the mood," Melissa finishes for her.

I look up at both of them and force a smile onto my face. They don't realize that though.

"Guys. You wouldn't mind if I maybe... went home? I kinda left Mama Dee on a bad note yesterday..."

"Yeah. Of course, Solie."

"We'll go with you."

"Guys, you don't have to do that. I can find my way home."

Stella crosses her arms over her chest and grins. "Solie, I drove you here. I'm gonna have to drive you back because no one, and I mean NO ONE, would drive out here to pick you up."

I laugh. "Stella, I'm famous. Everyone would be fighting to get me into their cars, and I mean EVERYONE."

We all laugh. It makes me feel a little better. Melissa and Stella both reach out a hand and help me up from the staircase. Walking towards the car, Stella asks, "So Melissa, how exactly did you even get here? You obviously didn't drive."

"Oh shut up." And then, there's more laughter.
