"Here." I hand Solie three separate dresses over the dressing room door. She takes them from me and there's a long pause of silence.
She only places one dress on one of the hooks on the wall because she hands back the other two.
"Jer, you need to update your style. Like, now."
"Haha, very funny."
Then, the dressing room door opens and Solie emerges to stand in front of the tri-fold mirror.
The dress is black with a low cut v-neck. It's plain with only a giant bow on the back where it zips up. She pulls it down and dusts it off while admiring herself.
"Can you help me?" She tries to reach for the zip but can't bend her arms the right way in order for her to pull it up. I walk over to her as she holds her hair up and out of the way. I place my hand on the zip and slowly begin to bring it up as I place kisses on her neck.
Her hand finds its way up to my face and softly caresses it. She closes her eyes and breathes heavily. Once her dress is fully on, I swiftly spin her around and our lips go crashing into each other. I place my hands on her waist and pull her body in closer to mine. One of her hands is on my shoulder, the other in my hair. She tastes like she always does, like coconuts and chocolate. Somehow, we're back in her dressing room. I have her pinned to a wall, our hands still entangled on each other. We didn't stop for one breath. I lift her legs one by one until they're wrapped around me. All a person can hear is the sounds of us making out behind the dressing room door.
Solie eventually stops kissing me and captures me in a tight hug as I hold her. I spin in circles, letting her legs fly, and she laughs.
"Jeremy, stop!"
I don't and it only makes her laugh more. I love seeing her like this. I place Solie back on the ground when someone knocks our door.
"I'm sorry, but you're going to need to quiet down a bit. Customers are complaining."
Solie and I silently laugh to ourselves. We practically pass out.
"Yes, of course. Sorry."
Then, the employee leaves from in front of our door. Solie and I smile back at each other. Her hands are still around my neck.
"I love you," she mouths to me as her eyes sparkle from the light above us.
"I love you more," I mouth back to her before she steps on her tiptoes to gives me a kiss on my forehead and leave the dressing room to look at her outfit in the mirror again.
"I feel like it's not me. Or... it's not who I want to be at my only high school graduation."
I join her at the mirror.
"Babe, you have like 10 other dresses in there."
She squeezes her face to try and hide her blushing and turns around to kiss me before dashing into the dressing room.
"Go find me some nice black heels in the women's section please. Consider this your first updated style test." Solie chuckles through the door as she speaks. I roll my eyes while shaking my head smiling.
"I saw that, Sherlock."
"I know. I was hoping you would."
"Oh my goodness. Just go get my stuff."
