Quick Note: I was going to do four more chapters of Adam's POV but I'm not doing that. Just saying. So it's back to Michelle's POV.

---------

I walked around town with Breanne, Jasper and Gabriel. They're nice people and they didn't even mention Austin. As we walked, Breanne started explaining what happened at the concert two weeks ago. She said that Dad rigged it and knew I was coming because of Mom. I stopped walking and hung my head trying not to cry.

"Michelle? Come here," Jasper said softly. I looked up and he was kneeling with his arms opened. I ran into them. He wrapped his arms around me. I began to sob. "It's okay, Michelle. It's alright."

I buried my head in his shoulder and continued cry. After a few minuets my sobs died down and I looked up at all three of them. I got to my feet.

"That was embarrassing," I said with a laugh.

They didn't respond. I wasn't excepting them to. Breanne smiled and asked when Dad was going to be back. I told her I didn't know. He hasn't called or given any sign of him returning. And he's been gone for two days. I frowned. What if he died? What if he didn't want to come back? My hand reached into my pocket and I brought out my phone. I texted Dad but it went straight to 'not delivered.' I started freaking out. I began to pace back and forth on the sidewalk while I muttered to myself. Why isn't he calling? Did he run away? Did Austin kill him? Did the plane crash? Will he ever return home?

About halfway through my pacing, Jasper placed his hands on my shoulders and he looked me in the eyes. He told me to stop pacing and that they're taking me home. I swallowed and nodded my head. He patted me on the back and I followed them down the sidewalk, across the street, and to the car. Jasper drove and Gabriel sat up front. Breanne and I sat in back. While we drove I stared out the window. It began to rain and tears formed in my eyes. I overheard Jasper and Gabriel talking. They were saying things about Dad that weren't true. I grew mad and yelled at them and started telling them everything that happened. When I was done yelling Jasper had stopped the car and all three of them looked at me. My arms were crossed over my chest and I glared at them. Three minuets later we were driving again.

I noticed that we were not going home. Why? Where are we going? I wondered. Then my phone rang. I answered it and it was mom. She talked with fear in her voice. Does Austin have her captured? I tried to get her to calm down but she ended up bawling loudly. I took the phone away from my ear and Breanne and Gabriel mouthed: what's wrong? I shrugged my shoulders and put my phone back to my ear. Mom had stopped bawling. I heard her take a deep breath and tell me. I couldn't speak. I hung up the phone and Jasper stopped the car once again. He looked at me, so did the others. I blinked and tears rolled down my face. I took a deep shaky breath and whispered

"Dad got arrested for drug dealing."

They all gasped and said, "WHAT?!"

I jumped in shock. Then collected my thoughts.

"What about Austin?" Breanne asked

I took another deep breath. "He didn't get arrested. We-we need to go to the police station and prove that Dad is innocent."

Jasper nodded his head and we sped towards the police station. As we drove, I got a text.

From:Austin To:Michelle

Hello. Here's a hint that will help you prove that Adam is innocent.

'This picture paints a thousand words.'

You know what I mean, Michelle. Go back to your house.

I yelled at Jasper to stop the car. He slammed on the breaks and we all jerked forward. Jasper asked why. Then I read him the text. He said "okay" then he turned around.

"I hope you're right, Austin," I muttered as we sped towards home.
