I opened my eyes and saw Mom and the gang still asleep. I slowly got to my feet and made my way upstairs. The power was back on and it still rained but not as hard. Like a light drizzle. The clock was blinking and I wondered what time is was. My stomach growled loudly and my feet led me to the kitchen. I walked over and opened up a cabinet to find cereal. Right away I found some 'Lucky Charms' and brought the it down. I placed it on the table, went to the fridge, got some milk and a spoon. After I poured it and out the stuff away, Mom and the rest came upstairs. I waved at them with a mouth full of cereal. They smiled and waved back. I watched as mom made some coffee and the others joined me at the table. I scanned their faces, they showed sadness. I knew they were missing dad or Adam. I was too. It's just I believe he's still alive. He has to be.

"So how you feeling?" Mom asked as she walked over

"Bad. But I know he's alive! Dad wouldn't leave me!" I half shouted with my voice breaking. I looked at everyone. They all were close to tears. I swallowed then added,"I mean us. Sorry."

Jasper, Daniel, Breanne, and Gabriel all got up and walked around the house. Now it was just mom and I in the kitchen. I stared at my bowl of cereal. Suddenly I wasn't that hungry. Mom noticed and she took the bowl away from me. I held my head in my hands and broke down in tears. I heard mom put the bowl in the sink, then her arms went around me as she sat down. A short sob burst out of my chest as I quickly pulled myself together just as the gang was walking back in. I brushed away the tears and looked at them. They had concerning looks on their faces. I half smiled.

"Are you still up for the concert in six days? And are you quitting?" Daniel asked nervously

I laughed softly. "Yes I'm still up for it! And no I'm not quitting. But I do have a song I would like to play at the concert," I said with a big grin on my face.

"What is it?" Everyone asked at the same time

I jumped a little bit. "You have to wait and see."

Then I stood up and made my way to my room to change. As I went up, I swore I heard Dad's voice in my ear. I looked but there was no one there at all. I reached the top and sauntered down the hallway. My feet led me to my door and I opened it. The room was dark. I flipped the switch and the light came on. Slowly, I walked over to my closet and looked for an outfit. After searching for a few minuets, I picked out a stripped tee shirt and cargo Capri pants. Once I had those on I ran down stairs just for fun and skidded to a halt in the den where everyone was. They all were staring at me. Daniel stood up slowly. He forced himself to swallow and looked nervous.

"What?" I questioned as fear settled in me

He took a deep breath. "I'm not allowed to be in Owl City anymore. They still won't let me after what I did," Daniel said.

"What?!" I repeated," that's crazy! I trust you and they should too. In fact, I'll make sure you're in the band okay? We need you to do the synths and stuff."

Daniel smiled weakly, walked over, and gave me a hug.

"Thanks," he whispered. Then he let go of me, "well I guess I better go."

Then everyone stood up and said their good-byes to Daniel. We watched him leave. After a few minuets of staring I frowned and paced back and forth. I started saying my thoughts out loud. I stopped pacing and ran to the table and grabbed a pen and pencil. I started making a game plan to get Daniel Jorgensen back on Owl City.
