I saw that Austin had Dad in a head lock, his face was all bloody and scratched. I ran to him but my legs gave out. I yelled then fell hard onto the concrete. My arm was numb. In fact, my whole right side was numb. I laid there screaming and crying at the same time. What's happening to me?! Then I heard Dad punch Austin and he rushed over and cradled me in his arms. Tears poured down his face and my own tears slowed.

"Miranda, call an ambulance. Actually get a helicopter. She'll have to go back to Minnesota." Dad ordered

Mom went off and called 911. I made eye contact with Dad.

"What's going to happen?" I asked softly

"Honestly, I don't know sweetie."

I frowned. I saw Daniel, Jasper, Gabriel, Breanne, and Mom in my vision standing behind dad. I guess Austin ran away. They all had worried looks on their faces. I tried speaking but I ended up coughing blood onto dad's shirt. What the heck?! Dad's eyes grew wide. He picked me up and started running. I felt lightheaded and coughed up more blood. My breathing was shallow and my vision went all tunnel-y. I heard a faint whirring noise and then lights blinded me. I felt myself being placed onto a stretcher and lifted up. I was brought into the helicopter and a oxygen tubes were placed in my nose since I was still coughing up blood. I looked to my left and saw Dad and Mom. I guess the others stayed behind. They had worried and scared looks on their faces. Dad had a big patch of blood on his shirt. Slowly, I moved my hand and they both held it. I forced myself to smile. They both blinked and tried not to burst into tears. Dad wrapped his arm around Mom's and kissed her cheek. Out of no where, I began telling them a story off the top of my head. As I told them, the paramedics worked on me and I had to pause to cough up more blood. My head was pounding in my skull and I stopped talking. I stared at the ceiling of the helicopter. My eyes suddenly grew wide and I began gasping for air. My legs were shaking. I screamed and I felt a prick in my neck. I stopped screaming, I stopped gasping for air, and my vision spun. Then I had one last look at my parents. Pure horror was plastered on their faces. My eyes closed and I blacked out.
