Chapter XLI-So bid the forest floor goodbye as you race the wind

I stared at the crowd as I stood in the middle of the stage. That's a lot of people. I glanced over at Jasper and gave my head a slight nod. I did the same for Breanne and Gabriel and Daniel. They started the intro to 'Umbrella Beach' and I introduced the gang even though they already knew who they were. Then introduced myself. I told them that I'm the daughter of Adam and that he isn't here right now. I couldn't bring myself to tell them that he's dead. Anyways. I sang the song and I was pumped up on adrenaline. When the song ended, everyone cheered and I had a huge smile on my face. I backed up and looked to my right. I swear I saw Dad. But I wasn't sure since he was in the shadows. I spoke into the microphone and told the crowd a little bit about myself then after that we started the intro to 'The Technicolor Phase.'

I am the red in the rose, the flowers

on the blankets on your bedroom floor.

And I am the gray in the ghost that hides

with your clothes behind your closet door.

I took a deep breath and looked at the gang. I was excited that the concert was going so well so far. I hope I'll get to do other concerts. Anyways. I nodded my head and I backed up. A guy brought out a stool and set it in front of the microphone and brought out an acoustic guitar. I sighed softly and sat on the stool. Once I had myself situated, I was ready to do the second to last song. I silently prayed that Dad would show up. I played around with the guitar then I was ready to do the song. Which was 'To the Sky.'
