In this world full of trend, everyone seems to follow it even if its not their style. But she was different. She was unique in my eyes.

A typical fan would approach me and ask for a picture. Some of them would even scream. But she acted different.

"Happy Birthday Ahia Prince!" We all sang to Ahia.

Napatingin ako sa kabilang table dahil kanina ko pa napapansin ang pagtingin niya dito sa amin. I knew she was a fan or at least she knows us. The way she smiles says so.

Kumunot ang noo ko nang matanto na kay Kuya Rash siya nakatingin. It was very unusual for me. Kuya Rash was always the lowkey one sa amin. Hanggang sa lumabas kami ng restaurant, all her eyes were only to Kuya Rash.

I didn't see her after we got out the restaurant. Pero nakita ko siya ulit noong nasa mga bazaar kami. We were on a different isle. I saw her approached Kuya Rash and asked for a picture.

"Tss," Bulong 'ko. I didn't know what I was feeling.

"Bro. Kay Sheed lang nagpapicture oh." Ahia Prince smiled. "As far as I remember fan mo rin yan. I see her sa twitter."

Hindi ko iyon pinansin at umalis na. Akala ko that encounter was like any other. I thought I'd forget after a few days. Pero hindi eh. Paulit ulit na nagtatanong ang sarili 'ko. Bakit ang cute niya? Kahit nakakatampo at kay Kuya Rash lang siya nagpapicture.

Ang childish mo Rivero! Bwisit!

And that darn smile kept on showing to my mind. That freaking smile.

"Kuys San ka?" Tanong ko kay JV ng makitang paalis siya early in the morning.

"I got an invite to a school sa Calamba. Bakit?"

"Sama ako. Wala naman akong ginagawa dito." I said. I also suggested na kotse ko na lang gamitin. Tutal nakisabit naman kami.

"Sama na rin ako!" Brent said. And ending tuloy pati si Kuya Prince at Kuya Sheed sumama.

The ride was long. Literally long. Dagdagan mo pa ng traffic. Akala ko nga hindi na kami aabot eh.

"Bro, anong gagawin natin dun?" Kuya Prince asked.

"Well, sabi nung friends niya may bazaar daw tsaka rides. Parang school fair yata."

"Friends niya?" My forehead creased as I asked.

"Ah. Kasi this certain girl invited me last day sa sky night cinema. I said na hindi ako makakapunta. Then after a day her friends messaged me saying to come over na nga. Good thing I wasn't busy today." He explained.

"You know guys, she's different sa mga nakilala ko na fans." We all looked at JV. "She's not the makulit one and also she's not the super shy one. I mean she just knows when to talk and when to stay quiet."

"Sino ba yan? Mukhang nagugustuhan mo na eh." Brent joked.

"Baliw ka!" Kuys JV typed something into his phone the showed it to us. I can't look at it because I was driving.

"Bro, eto yung nakita natin sa ATC. Yung kay Sheed lang nagpapicture." Tumawa si Kuya Prince.

Iniling ko ang ulo 'ko. Ah, so we will meet again little girl. Napangisi ako sa naisip 'ko.

"Walang hates sa account niya guys. Puro memes lang." Brent laughed. "She doesn't bash the haters back. Bihira to sa isang fan ha."

And that was added to the list why I wanted to know her more. Ang positive niya lang kasi. I liked her for a reason back then.
