"Dev! What a miracle! You finally called me!" I shouted when I answered his call.

Yes. A miracle did happen. After months and months of no news about him. He suddenly calls. I sighed as a relief. Akala ko kung ano na nangyari dito eh.

"Uhm, sorry for that. " He said with his husky voice. Hmm, not usual for him to have that husky voice. Maybe he's sick or whatsoever?

"I'm actually thinking if I should accept your sorry after ghosting me?" Panunuya ko sa kaniya. I was not happy he with what he did, alright. He did not communicate to me at all! After the I went back here in the Philippines, I messaged him often but he did mot reply nor seen any of those messages.

"You need to chill. I'm sorry okay,"

"Still not satisfied." Pagmamatigas ko sa kaniya. I will not let down my walls full of pain and worry when he didn't talk to me at all.

"What can I do to make you satisfied then?"

"Let's meet! You owe me a lot of things." Agad kong sinabi. The thing is i've been hearing things that he'll be transferring abroad. I think he just finished his UAAP season. Not completely playing his remaining years.

"Okay. Just text me where." And that was the end of our conversation. Nabitin talaga ako sa usapan namin. And for the fact that he called first! I think that he might actually want to say something but me being such a child got into the way.

We agreed to meet on the newest coffee shop in town. Its not that far from home kaya pinayagan ako mag-isa pero siyempre Kuya Rich will be fetching me after he goes his rounds sa ilang sites.

My eyes widened at the shock that he was here first! Because back then, most of the time when we meet I am usually the first to be in the meeting place. I would wait up to fifteen minutes for him.

Agad akong pumunta sa kaniya at niyakap siyang mahigpit. I looked at him head to toe to see how much he's changed. Wearing a v-neck gray shirt, khaki shorts and his casual sneakers he looked more adult than before. His body build is even more firm and much recognizable. I suppose he's spending most of his time to workout.

"Dahan dahan lang. Baka kung mapano ka. Masuntok pa ako ni Kuya Rich." Mahinahon siyang tumawa. Tinignan ko siya ng masama sa pagtatampo pa rin sa kaniya.

"You missed me didn't you?" He said smoothly. I did mot say a single word. Instead i just looked at him. Naninibago yata ako sa mature na itsura niya.

It took me a few moments later before I could finally talk. Sakto namang dumating ang waiter na dala dala ang inorder niyang pagkain para sa aming dalawa.

"Dami mong kasalanan sa'kin ha!" His eyes widened. Kunyari hindi niya alam ng mga sinasabi 'ko. "After that little stunt you pulled back in London. Suddenly you are not showing up? Nangg-ghosting ka na pala ngayon huh."

I said that as a half joke. Like a tease or something to him that is actually true. Sobra akong nagtatampo sa kaniya at hindi yata 'to matatapos hangga't hindi siya nakakabawi sa akin.

Agreeing to what I said. Nagkwento siya ng mga ganap sa buhay niya noong mga panahong hindi siya nagpaparamdam sa akin.

"Buti naisipan mong tumawag sa'kin."
