chapter 3

[Misty POV]

"Pikachu is fit and not drugged." the nurse said while smiling.

Hearing this words from nurse's mouth made me even more depressed. how could a normal tiny Pikachu beat my mega pokemon..... in one hit. I was just so busy in thinking about the battle scene, I didn't notice Ash coming my way.

"Hey misty, that was a great battle. me and pikachu enjoyed it. Thanks, hope we'd battle again some day." he said while proceeding his hand forward for a hand shake. I looked at him in a confused look. But was too sad to take his hand shake, so I just turned around and head towards my class.

[Ash POV]

I moved my hand forward for a handshake but she turned around and walked away without saying anything. maybe she's too much sad for her defeat.

anyways, I got to get to my lesson. fourth lesson, maybe it's science. I walked towards the class room. I opened the door and walked in, the professor and the students all laid their eyes on me. for a few seconds everything froze. then finally professor broke the silence.

"Oh! Ash welcome to our school... how was the checkup?" he asked. "well.. pikachu Is fit and not drugged. that's what the nurse told... anyway nice to meet you and everyone in this room. I'm Ash Ketchum, and this is my buddy Pikachu."I told."PIKAA!" Pikachu also cried in happiness saying hello to everyone.

"well.. now please take a seat so we can continue our lesson." professor requested me to take a seat." okay, thanks professor" I replied and turned to the students to look for an empty seat.

Every seat was occupied, until I saw Misty sitting alone. I smiled and walked to her. She was busy in her work.

"hey, Misty! can I sit here?" I asked her a sudden making her jump in terror. She laid her eyes on me, she thought for a moment then accepted in very calm tone.

I sat next to her and put my bag on the floor near me while Pikachu hoped from my shoulder to my lap and curled up for a nap.

The whole period was too silent, Misty didn't say a word to me. I think she is still sad for her defeat. I tried to talk to her about school work which I missed but she refused to tell me. May be she doesn't want to talk me.

Next after the fourth lesson I was at the cafeteria with pikachu. the whole cafeteria was filled with students not a place to sit. then suddenly a boy can over to me,"hey are you Ash Ketchum?" he asked, I replied him back and he handed me a card."take this pass it will grant you access to every place. professor Oak told me to deliver it. And you can have your lunch in the S-class room at that corner."he instructed me and pointed to a room at the end of the hall. I thanked him and head to the room with Pikachu on my shoulder.

When I opened the door of the room and walked in I saw five pairs of eyes staring at me in shock making me feel uncomfortable. there were five girls and one of them was Misty. "Excuse me, is this the S-CLASS room?" I asked slowly. then suddenly a girl with brown hair and red colored dress and bandana on her head came forward. "Yes it is, but you are not allowed here so just get out of here."she said in a hard tone.

"huh!?..but..."I reacted in confusion. "No buts this room is only for S-CLASS students. now get out."she yelled on me. I didn't reply but held my pass in front of my face. They all were shocked to see my pass. "How did you get this?" a girl with large purple hair shot up from her seat and asked me. "Err... well... professor Oak gave me." I said sarcastically. They all were shocked and paused for a moment. "So...can I sit here I am really hungry." I asked them breaking the silence. "Okay, since you are now an S-class student so you can, but don't talk to us." another girl with blue hair answered. I nodded and sat on the chair a little far from them, since I don't wanted to disturb them. But they kept staring me every moment.

It was so awkward, suddenly pikachu started to nudge my left ear trying to get my attention. "PIKA..PI(we need to ask professor, remember)" he reminded me of my meeting. "Oh yeah, right thanks for reminding me Pikachu." I replied. then I stood up, cleaned my table and walked out of the room leaving my bag at my seat with the girls in the room.

[Misty POV]

After Ash left the room, I took a deep breath of comfort. I don't like Ash after he defeated me. it's just so uncomfortable. Till yesterday I was the strongest trainer of the school, but out of nowhere this stupid person came and took my title. I was thinking too much of my defeat that I didn't notice Serena calling me.

"Misty... hey MISTYYYYYY!" suddenly I lost my trance and heard her yelling at me. "Uhh....wha-what is it Serena.. why are you shouting at me?" I asked her suddenly. "well.. you looked to be in some kind of deep thought and I think I know why." she said making me a little cautious. "why? ermm... it's just nothing you know." I said making fake smile. "Ohh, no you don't. Serena is right you look very sad...I know you are still thinking about your loss, but you can't be thinking about it always." Dawn said trying to comfort me through her speech which didn't work. "Now.. come on Misty forget about that match and think of your future. Ash hasn't defeated you in the school competition so you are still the school champion. and if you train more you can keep your title after defeating Ash in the competition." Iris added and this time it motivated me a little. "Maybe you are right....I can still be the school champion. I just need to train harder then I'll be up again.... thanks everyone for keeping me motivated." I said happily. "now that you are happy again so why don't we head to our next class it's almost time for lunch to get over." May said. "okay... but before we go what do we do with Ash's bag." I said pointing to it. We all started to glare at the bag. "are you thinking what I'm thinking?" iris asked slowly. "if you are thinking too peek in then I am?" may said mischievously.

We got up from our seats and slowly walked to his bag. may took up the bag and slowly unzipped it. She was rummaging through his bag to find something, while we were waiting for her to take something out. "Hey guys I think I found something...." she said, we all looked at her."... it's his Pokedex" she said. Dawn quickly snapped it from her hands. "wow it shall reveal us about his information." she said. "yeah, quick open it." iris said.

Dawn flipped the cover and pressed the button. the pokedex screen flashes and a female voice was heard.

He currently posseses 64 gym badges from all 8 regions, 4 orange island badges and 8 sinnoh frontier badges. He has caught a maximum of 364 Pokemons including 9 legendary pokemons and has seen 672 pokemons including 57 legendary and mythical pokemons. His strongest and starter pokemon is pikachu. Hearing the information made me feel more and more shocked and nervous. I was not believing what the Pokedex said. I could not figure out what was going to happen in the competition.

I saw my friends stare at the Pokedex in shock and terror. I knew they all were also Shocked to hear it. I tried to say something but nothing came out of my mouth.

"What the hell was that? I mean how.... how could he achieve so much in such a young age." iris yelled out the sentence in shock. "OMG!! this guy is terrifically strong. who else roams around having 9 legendary pokemons with him." Dawn added. "I am so dumbfounded at this-" Serena said but was interrupted by the sound of the door to be opened. we all turned around to see Ash at the door.

"What are you doing?"
