Chapter 16

[Misty POV]

It's Wednesday and the school has taken us to a field trip to a forest. I like field trips only if they are not in forests, because there are bugs in forest. I don't really come along with bugs, actually I hate them. We are divided into teams of two and are asked to collect berries. I'm partnered with Serena, and the problem is we both don't like bugs.

“Hey Misty, did you see any berries.” Serena asked she sounded scared just like me, “no, not yet.” I replied in the same scared tone. Suddenly we heard a rustling in the bushes, be we slowly backed off. “I hope it's not a bug or an angry Pokemon.” We side together, then something green emerged from the bushes. We were practically freaked out.

Then the Pokemon popped out and our worst nightmare was happening. It was a freaking, SCYTHER. We screamed at top of our lungs and ran in the opposite direction, and by the looks of it, I think the Scyther was very angry because it was following us. “Oh no he's following us, what do we do?” I screamed, “I don't know, use any fire type.” She said, “call your Delphox stupid.” I yelled. “I didn't bring her.” “What? Why?” I asked in anger. “I don't know, what do we do now?”. We kept in running a far as we could and the Scyther followed us. He was cutting the bushes that were in it's way. Then I remembered, “use any Rock Pokemon.” I said, “good idea, pancham come out and use STONE EDGE.” She shouted while throwing a pokeball. Pancham came out and created a barrier of rocks, the rocks got Scyther but he got up and used his attacks. “Pancham use DARK PULSE and STONE EDGE.” Serena said, pancham used his attacks and knocked out Scyther. We took a breath of relief.

After finding the berries we went back to the camp. It took is almost half of the day. When we reached there, few students were still not there. After waiting for some time, everyone came. We were given our grades. If I knew that we would have taken that seriously. The highest score was of Ash and Toby, one of classmates. I wonder how he does everything so perfectly? After that we went back to the school then to our homes. It was a long day, but me and Serena had decided to go for some shopping. I got changed up into some fresh clothes and went to the mall, Serena also came in a short while.

We roamed around for awhile then went into a shop that looked okay. After few more shops we went to a cafe for some snacks. But before we could reach the cafe, there was an attack. All of a sudden, many men came and started attacking the people there, they stole the pokeballs from them. Suddenly a houndoom came in front of us. “Houndoom attack with FIRE FANG.” A man said, houndoom used his power and bit me, it was very painful and burning. He attacked Serena too and then took our pokeballs.

I couldn't even move because of the pain, I started to cry at this. My Pokemons were taken away by those people. Then we heard a voice which struck my heart with terror. “Yveltal destroy this place with OBLIVION WING.”  Then I saw an Yveltal flying above the shopping center and he used his attack to turn everything into stone. I was very scared, then the attack was heading in my direction, I closed my eyes for the impact. I waited but nothing happened, I slowly opened my eyes and saw Serena glowing furiously. “Stop this, please I beg you!” She shouted, then released a wave of Energy from her. The wave spread across the area and everything turned to normal. I was surprised by this. “What's happening?” Serena said, in surprise as well. I think she too doesn't know about this. Suddenly Serena fell on the floor unconscious. “Oh no! Serena wake up, what happened to you?” I freaked out.

“Aha! Looks like we found the last Jewel of Eternity. The Jewel of life….. now I just need to take it from you.” The man said, I was very confused about everything. “Now, Yveltal use PSYCHIC and bring that girl to me.” Serena's body glowed with a blue outline and started to hover. Yveltal pulled her to him but then out of nowhere a THUNDER BOLT hit him, making him unconscious. Serena fell towards the ground but was caught by someone before hitting the ground. I was very happy because I knew only one Pokemon who can use THUNDER BOLT and defeat Yveltal, Ash's Pikachu. “Ash you're here.” I exclaimed happily, he looked at me with a smile. He was the one who caught Serena from falling. He was still holding her on his arms, “Charizard, Dragonite, Lucario and Greninja, defeat these people and tie them up. Wait here until my agents come here to arrest them.” He said, his Pokemons nodded then started attacking the people. Ash came near me, “hey are you okay?” He asked me, I nodded. “Is Serena okay?” I asked, “yeah, she's just wiped out. She used too much of her power.” He said, I was confused, “let's get to home, I'll tell you everything.” He said, I got up slowly I saw my pain was all gone, probably because of Serena. Ash called his Pidgeot and Talonflame. We rode on them to his home, Serena was in his arms.

After getting home, he placed her on the bed and then placed his hands on her head. His hands started to glow yellow. Then it stopped. “What did you do?” I asked, he smiled at me, “just giving her some Energy.” He replied. I was so confused, I needed answers right away. We heard Serena moving a bit. I looked at her very concerned. She slowly opened her eyes, then turned her head and looked at us. “Wh-what,.. happened?” She Said weakly, I was happy that she woke up.
