Chapter 13

[Ash POV]

After we successfully captured the defeated Rocket members, we sent them to the prison cells to be later on interogated. I went on a stroll to see if all my agents were safely taken to the hospital, or if there is still any Rocket member. Charizard and Dragonite were waking along with me.

“Looks like everything is fine here, let's go to the hospital to see what's going on.” I said, both Charizard and Dragonite nodded then we made our way towards the hospital. But when we were about to exit the building, I saw one of my guards helping some injured ones into the ambulance. I approached him and asked is everything else taken care of, “Sir, the Rocket members have been imprisoned and will be interogated about whatever their mission is. Other than that our agents have been transferred to the hospital safely and Dr. Harrison is checking them along with few nurse Joy from nearby cities. And the security system has been…” as I listened to his report, I saw a part of the ceiling about to fall in the guard. Without any second thoughts I pushed him away. Just then the ceiling fell on me. Although it only fell on my right arm but it was heavy. I yelled out in pain, Charizard and Dragonite quickly removed the debris from my hand then I hop on Charizard and flew towards the hospital.

Dr. Harrison or should I say Brock, bandaged my hand. It wasn't badly injured but it left a bruise. After that I left for home because Leaf would be waiting for me.

As I was flying on Pidgeot's back, I received a call from professor oak. I answered it, “hello professor, what's the matter?” I asked, -”Ash, I called to tell you that I've done the research on your Greninja and I've found some answers. So I would like you to come and have a look also I need you to help me with my last experiment.”- he said, I thought for a moment then,”okay, I'm coming in….15 minutes.” Then I ended up the call and called at my home. -”Hello, Ketchum's resident, how may I help you?”- a feminine voice was heard. “Ah, Amy. It's me Ash. I wanted to tell that I'll be a little bit more late, so make sure that leaf has eaten the dinner and is sleeping at her time. I'm at professor oak’s lab.” I told, -”okay, I'll do it. Take care…”- she says then hung up. Amy is Leaf's babysitter, she also takes care of my house when I'm not home. She's 16 years old and there is one more maid, Emma. She is Amy's elder sister, she is 24 years old. They both are sweet and kind, Leaf enjoys her time with them.

When I reached at professor oak's lab. He was doing some research on a Pokemon. He noticed me and left his work. We both talked for some time, then he started telling me about Greninja and me. He says that it all was happening because of our bond. The one we share with each other. My Pokemons trust me with their life. Greninja on the other hand managed to bring out his love and dedication towards me beyond anything. When I battle I work my heart out into the battle as my own, my Pokemons respect me and obey my commands before they lives.

I could have asked Clemont for this research but he was already busy on a greater project and I don't believe disturbing him would be good. The project can cause many lives. But let's not talk about it now, I'll tell when time comes, right now I'm heading to my house.

When I got home I was greeted by Emma. Leaf and Amy had already fallen asleep. I ate my dinner which Emma cooked then went to my bed.

---next day---

I am headed to school, I decided to walk to school not want to jump from Rayquaza. As I moved to the special room for the s-class students, I would be asked by the students in the way who noticed my bandage on the right hand. Soon I reached the room. When I walk in I was greeted by the girls staring at me with surprise.

Suddenly they all lunge at me and take me in a group hug. I felt really awkward, “Uh….is anything wrong?” I asked. “No, we're just happy that you're okay.” May says, I look at her with confused face, “why? Did something happen?” I asked. They all stared at me, “you can't hide from us, we all know yesterday you left school because of that emergency. And when I reached home I saw the news and the attack was big, so we were worried for you.” May told, oh so that's the problem well then I'm okay, so no worries. “Ah, but I'm perfectly fine, see….” I say as I waved my hands around, forgetting the bandages. They saw it and looked with worried and sad face. “Ash your hand! What happened?” Dawn yelled, I sweatdropped, “uh… It's nothing…. Just a small bruise…. Yeah.” I replied, but they didn't looked convinced. “How?” They all asked, “umm…. Well it's kinda funny…. The-the debris fell on me.” I stuttered out, their eyes popped up. “What?” They all yelled together, “And you say it's nothing!” Misty shouted. “yeah well, it doesn't hurts… So it's nothing to me.” I said, they just stared at me with astonishment. “Well, we must not waste anymore time, the bell's about to ring, let's go to our classes…” I said, they just nodded and then we walked to our different classes.

Everything was normal other than this the whole day. May needed my help with the history homework, so I invited her at my house. Others were not in our class so it wasn't bad. When we reached home Leaf tackled us happily. We ate lunch then I helped out May.

[May POV]

“Okay, so let's get started. Now let's see…. Uh. How about we start with today's lesson. I'm sure you didn't listen them.” Ash said, I laughed at this. “Yeah, that should be great.” I said, we both sat on the sofa with our books then Ash started to explain today's lesson to me. “So today we were learning about the special kingdom of the Lucarios. Lucario Kingdom is an exclusive location in Sinnoh. It is located somewhere in between Mt. Coronet and Veilstone City. This kingdom is hidden from the outside world…….” As Ash continued to tell me about the kingdom, I just stared at his face.

His Auburn chocolatey eyes, his silky smooth Raven hair, his strong voice, his cute little smile. Everything that belongs to him is so amazing, his personality, the way he acts, every Pokemon and person is attracted to him. He is just so awesome. The day when he rescued me and Max from Calem, I made up my mind that I, am in love with Ash. I just can't get the confidence to that, I'm just afraid that he may not accept my confession and it may also ruin our friendship the way it is now.

“MAY!” “huh…. Uh, what happened?” I asked as I was broken from my trance by his loud voice. “Were you even listening to me?” He asked, i started to panic because I was lost in my thoughts. “Ummm yeah, i-i was listening everything….i guess..” I said, mumbling the last words. He sighed softly, and lowered his head. “Oh God, you're just wasting my time.” Oh great, now he's mad at me now I'll never get him to be my boyfriend. “Well I'll explain one more time, then you can go home. Do you understand?” He said, I nodded then he explained the lesson to me again and this time I listened with full attention.

After that he offered me some snacks and then I left for my home.
