Chapter 30

[Charizard POV]

Finally, everything is done. Now we can go to kalos. Right as I was flying towards Rustboro city, something weird happened. As if I saw something else instead of the sky ahead. Something like two glowing orbs fighting each other.

“Uh oh!” I heard ash speak. I turned my head a little to see. Him and he had a worried expression over this face. “What is it?” I asked , he looked at me and hesitated before saying. “ I think I saw through Greninja's eyes. They were leaf and Serena…” the look in his eyes told something was wrong. Then I remembered what I saw. “Their jewels have taken over, isn't it?” I asked with caution, he nodded in confusion. “Yes, but… how do you know?” He asked, “I don't know how, but I saw it too.” I replied.

I turned forward and speeded up. Soon we landed on the same place where the girls were with Pikachu. They had gone somewhere, probably home. I was worried now. We both started looking around for them and Pikachu, and I found a girl with a Pikachu in her lap sitting on swing in the park. I called Ash and we both ran towards them, Pikachu noticed us and his face brightened. He quickly hopped from her lap and ran to us.

“Ash, Charizard! I saw something unusual, like a vision!” He yelled, “You too? It happened to me as well.” I replied. “It was Greninja's vision we saw. Something has happened to Leaf and Serena. We need to get there a quickly.” Ash spoke, we both nodded and I took my position to take off. Ash turned to the little girl who was looking at us with confusion.

“Hey there, thanks a lot for taking care of Pikachu but I need to go now. Goodbye.” Ash said with weak smile. The girl smiled back and nodded. “Thank you too for letting us play with Pikachu. He's very cute.” She said. Ash then turned back and hopped on my back and Pikachu sat on his shoulder.

And I took off at jet speed. Of course I wasn't as fast as Pidgeot but I gave all of my power to reach there on time. I was so determined to save leaf that I didn't pay any attention to anything other than my flight path. A total distance of 9844 kms. And I had like, not more than 1 hour.

“I need to trigger my bond with Greninja to see what's happening.” Ash said and suddenly I started glowing brightly. I was surrounded by purple aura and the armour on my body got absorbed in my skin and I grew in size. My scales turned to Metallic covering and my body structure changed to that of robot. I could feel the new power within me. It felt so amazing I flapped my now metallic and large wings with more force and surprising I wasn't feeling as tired as I was before.

“Charizard! You… You're synced with me. Along with Greninja.” Ash shouted. I then looked through Greninja's eyes and saw Leaf and Serena attacking each other blindly. He was trying to stop them but they were too strong for him. I flapped my wings even harder. I was flying at even more speed than Pidgeot. And in no time we could see the silhouette of Kalos region. I glided down near the surface of water and flew over the seas, water bursting in air behind me.

“Charizard! You're too fast!” Ash yelled as he was hanging on my back. “Just hold on tight!” I replied, we had now entered the land and the trees beneath us appeared like large patches of grass as I flew at blinding speed. Soon the cities started to appear and I made my way to our mansion. As I heightened myself to not blow the buildings, I gave out a large roar.

As we neared Lumiose city, two glowing orbs could be seen trying to take each other's life. I gave another louder roar to catch their attention. Everyone in the area had noticed my presence and was looking at me. I slowed down and halted in air from where Ash could talk to Leaf and Serena.

“Leaf! Serena! Calm down, you're gonna get hurt if you keep fighting like this.” He yelled, both of them were looking at us, their eyes completely black and they emitted dark aura. I looked around and noticed our mansion was destroyed completely, the Pokemons were taken to safety by the rescue team. Some of Ash's stronger and some other people's Pokemons were helping to stop them. And Greninja… he was standing there on the field in his bond form. All weared out, bruised and injured. I could feel the pain through our bond.

Somehow I got synced up with Ash and Greninja. It felt different to be together. We three could read each other's mind and feel the pain.

I turned my attention back to Leaf and Serena, surprisingly their darkness had vanished and were floating towards the ground. I too descended on the Earth and let Ash get off. He slowly walked towards them who were still levitating above the surface. “Guys, I'm here now. Everything is going to be fine. Calm down and come here.” He spoke in a low and calm voice.

Both of them landed on the ground and their dark energy had completely vanished. “Ash?” Serena asked in a cracking voice, she was about to cry. Same was with leaf, her eyes were filled with tears and here lips were pursed together.

“Yes, it's me, Ash.” He replied. Suddenly Leaf ran towards him and hugged him tightly. She started crying and Ash was trying to calm her. “It's okay, sweetie. I'm here now and I will not leave alone ever again. I promise, now stop crying….” Serena was looking at them and her eyes were dripping from the tears. She slowly made her way to Ash and stopped at a small distance far. Ash looked from the hug and saw her.

All he said, “I'm sorry, I'm late.”
