Have I ever told you that you're beautiful?
Beautiful in a cruel cruel kinda way
A way that leaves me wondering if
I'll make it to the next day
Without drinking the elixir of your look
One that shames the ladies in the pretty girl books
And I will not hold such beauty against you
Such would be a brittle felony
For it was essential destiny for you
To float across the walk with your shoulders proud
Your eyes strong yet your head bowed
In modesty, but disputed by the way you form your words
Words formed so beautifully in thought
Measured and congruent with your graceful gate

What did you think?
Keep it popping,
