I have been quiet in my forging
Slow, steady and deliberate
Laying a course but treading as if
The world about me is delicate
But time is eroding my patience
And destiny is due to elicit...
This storm that has been brewing
With wind that is curtly coiled,
Clouds broiling in fevered fervent hues,
And lightning writhing, wondrous and wicked
...all eager as fire consumes the fuse
Unleashed my will, will rage
Upon the shores of repressing compromise
My soul loosened from its cage
With thirst and purpose in its eyes
The eye of the storm will safely hold
What is fair and kind
The rest I'll bring into my fold
Or leave them tattered and behind
This storm has been formed
The wise to heed the gale warning
This storm to be unleashed
Clearing the way for a golden morning

A/N:
Well, life was definitely storming for me when I wrote this. And i made the mistake of entrusting my emotions in the wrong place at the time. Such a silly and repeatable mistake.
Don't do it.
How did you like the alliteration?
Cheers,
