We were walking in the meadow
The flowers were coming out
We were starting to figure out
What we were all about
Then something happened
I guess you got an itch
You took a step back
And you flipped that fucking switch
Our love that was in blossom
With the most majestic bloom
Was cut down in an instant
You said it was too soon
We were walking in the future
Your hands pulling out my heart
Each night you talked to me
Came with a simple cherished spark
Then one night from afar
My new paradigm caught a glitch
Two bottles of wine with him
And you flipped the fucking switch
Our love that was not ready
Sent to an early doom
I asked that we give it time
But you said that it was too soon
As close as our hearts became
They just were not in tune
I fell in love with you
And you left my heart marooned
As far as our dreams did reach
They could not even make it until noon
You came my way so sweetly
But you said it was too soon
I prepared to love you, every inch
You felt trapped and flipped the switch
I prepared to love you, every inch
You felt trapped and flipped the fucking switch

AN:
Ever been blindsided? Kinda like going to a summer BBQ and you are dreaming of that perfect hamburgers, you get there, you grab a beer, but it is some shitty macro brew domestic that the hipsters pretend to like. But it is ok, because hey the grill is right over there and you are going to pig out. And then. Veggie dogs. They only have veggie dogs. WTF!
