What you told me

Is what you needed

To tell him

How you did me

(or did not) do me

Is what you need

To do to him

How you held me

Is how you need

To let him go

How my heart beats

Is how yours yearns to flow

What you told me

Soured on your lips

What you said

Betrayed by swaying hips

Something thrust upon

My ears

Born of your fears

I attest

What you told me

Is what you need

To tell him

And what is done unto me

Shall be undone unto him

And how you held me

Is how you need to

Let him go

So that we

          So that we

                    Can grow

A/N:

Yeah that didn't happen.  But a beautiful and enduring friendship did. Anyhow, what did you think of them poem?  Personally this one was interesting to revisit, just a real brain scrambler.

Remember, if you like what you see vote and share, i'm just trying to get my stuff out there.

Notice how I rhymed that previous sentence? A poet for sure.
