The Phoenix rises
Her fire burning bright
There is no darkness
Nor shadow, nor blight
That can darken her passion
Or dim her fight
For she will forge
From pain and presumed ruin
For she will build
From disappointment and confusion
For she will quiet
Those doubters din
For she will rise
She begins again
With compassion and defiance
And a daughter's mirth
With resilience and wisdom
And a lover's thirst
With strength and will
And a heroine's stride
With love and soul
And a mother's pride
She is the Phoenix
From adversities ashes she does rise
She is the Phoenix
Triumph epitomized

A/N:
Wrote this for a friend that was going through a lot and rising above it. The irony is a lot of the challenges she was faced with over coming her obstacles that she created, or at least did nothing to avoid. Regardless, the challenges were met and conquered.
Peace out,
