'Brown Guitar'
I've got myself a brown guitar
It won't take me very far
But it will
Occupy
My fingers
'Brown Guitar 2'
I've got myself a brown guitar
It won't take me very far
But it will
Occupy
My Fingers
They are tired of touching you
You gnaw at them
And turn them blue
They've painted your mountains
And been your steed
You've made them cry and made them bleed
And now for a better use
Then to be your toys
Or to tie my noose
They refuse; your work to do
So cut em, cut em loose
I've got myself a brown guitar
It won't take me very far
But it will
Occupy
My Fingers
The mission of my touch has failed
Only the pain of your skin prevails
They need a loving sort
One that does not use them for sport
Any maybe just maybe
If your love still lingers
I better, well I have...
I've got myself a brown guitar
It won't take me very far
But it will
Occupy
My Fingers

A/N:
So yeah I wrote the short crisp version and then later in a fit of frustration decided that it would grow into the second poem. But i left them as two distinct poems as the original has so much opportunity, it can be seen as full of promise, or the start of something new, etc. The second poem is decidedly more pained, and the first poem doesn't deserve that.
This might not make sense.
Anyhow, if you like it, vote it.
Cheers,
