The sun just began to rise as Caitlin tiredly fluttered her eyes open to see Barry.

She grinned and he laughed in response.
Changing the mood, Caitlin said, "Well being romantic right now is going to make me feel like a smut. What did you tell Iris?"
"Umm..." Barry said.
"Shoot! Barry, what are we going to do? What if someone asks us what we were doing at night?"
"Why don't we tell them what actually happened."
Caitlin sighed,"Bare we can't..."
"Why not Caitlin?"
"Well for one your foster dad is a cop."
"A guy tried to rape you though."
"And it would change what they already think of me."
Barry shook his head, "your still Cait to me."
They stayed in bed for a few more minutes, gazing at each other before leaving to got to Star Labs.

Fortunately, when they arrived only Cisco was there.
"Hey, guys." Cisco greeted as they walked in.
"Hey," they replied in unison, Barry walking around the desk one way and Caitlin the other.
"You're both here early?..." he questioned, realizing how odd it was that they were arriving together very early in the morning.
"Oh, umm. Couldn't sleep," Caitlin made up an excuse.
"Same," Barry said quickly, "Anyways, any updates on that other speedster."
"Wait, what other speedster?" Caitlin asked.
"A speedster with yellow and white lightning attacked CCPD last night and just vanished," Cisco answered, "Speaking of. Where were you last night?"
There was a quick pause, and then Caitlin changed the topic, "Yellow and white lightning, you said?"
Cisco could clearly see something was wrong, he looked over to Barry who then quickly looked down and rubbed the back of his neck. He knew them both enough to know they wouldn't do something reckless as what he first thought. So what really happened?...
"Well, according to my notes," Caitlin continued shuffling through the papers on her desk," yellow lightning like Barry's just means this speedster has a natural, pure connection to the speed force. But according to out last big bad, Savitar," saying that name caused a chill go down both Caitlin and Barry's spine, "white lightning is the most powerful out of all of them. Speedsters who have stolen speed from other speedsters or have, 'god' like speed tend to have white lightning. Like when Hunter's lightning went to yellow, white, then blue..."
